When I was a teenager in the 80’s I had this big sloppy cardigan I used to wear sometimes and my mom called it my Coleen Dewhurst Moon for the Misbegotten Sweater (although the sweater was more like CD in Ice Castles) But whatever Coleen Dewhurst RULES!

I love that this exists. Just read the play. And this audio is hypnotic. What a great cast. I wish more of Ibsen's plays (and also Chekhov's) were available as radio plays.

Perhaps the most challenging of all of beckett's plays. Almost anti-poetry. And this has to rank as one of the greatest pieces of acting on film. It must have been near torture for Ms. Worth. Thank you for posting this. Also, in it's way the most tragic of his plays, the most haunting.

For the promotion of the film "Roma Bene," Irene Papas chose to wear a magnificent Moroccan Ntaa caftan while performing her song "Per Te" in 1970. In the film, she portrays Elena Teopoulos. The song is sublime, as is the beautifully embroidered caftan she wears. Thanks for this beautiful video

A wonderful production, first done by Mr. Rabb in the 1960s with APA. Donald Moffat was grandpa. Sadly, this TV thing was directed for the camera by the horrible Kirk Browning, the worst thing that ever happened to ballet, opera, and now this. Dear Mr. Browning, you nitwit - how about some geography - you know - a wide shot so we see the set? Wouldn't that be a swell idea rather than all those insufferable close-ups. This is a stage play, not your ticket to trying to get a movie. This is the poster child for how NOT to direct a play for the camera. We want to see, you know, Mr. Rabb's blocking and staging. Geography, Mr. Browning - it's a wonderful thing and thanks for ruining what should have been a great video of a great play. Shame on you.
