FAFO Weekend Adventures
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 1 ก.ค. 2017
I Changed my TH-cam channel name because I didn't want to get sued by Jeep, and after thinking long and hard, I decided on FAFO Weekend Adventures. (Don't ask me why)
On the weekends, we decide if to stay home and work on the Jeeps or RV or say let's go out and explore.
Since we started RVing and doing upgrades, I figured, this is something new that I love and think will take the videos to another level.
The original channel of upgrades and how-to installations on the 1997/2022/2023 Jeeps will continue.
New videos of camping sites in the new Casita Travel Trailer will also be added.
Subscribe, like, and share so I know it's worth making videos for you all.
Thank you,
FAFO Weekend Adventures

I needed a backup camera for the Casita Travel Trailer but didn't want to drill into the fiberglass so I didn't know what to do. After asking around I was recommended the Foxpark Solar bluetooth backup camera. So far it's working great. Here is the link if you're interested in purchasing: amzn.to/4e6FDL4 @foxpark8369

Nooooooooooo😮😮😢
Great video, first of all. The cover is brand new, so no worries of which plug comes off first, but if it's an old cover, definitely make sure you're fill up plug comes off first. Looks like you did everything right, i wouldn't have taken off the cover, but hey, you can't be too careful.
@@joseluislara7194 Thanks for your words of wisdom
Most people never check their diff. fluid, let alone change their cover. If you swapped out parts in there. That's pretty normal. If you're pulling out chunks, then I'd be worried.
You know it’s a lot when your oil is magnetic and look the same color as the shavings
Looks pretty clean, it would be shiny or black to be worried
Thank you

How the hell is it so clear after 500 miles
Do you remember what code you were getting? I had the same issue (p0441) then I changed my canister and valve but now I’m getting p0443. I used a mopar valve too and it’s driving me insane
The P0443 code is an OBDII trouble code that indicates a problem with the evaporative emissions system (EVAP system) purge control valve circuit. This code can be triggered by any fault in the circuit, including: An open circuit, A short to ground or voltage, A damaged or blocked purge valve, and A faulty PCM
Thats normal. Worry when there is drive shaft vibration, whining when accelerating or coasting. Some gears you buy are lapped in and some are not. Gear sets that are not will typically have more metal stuck to the magnet. Keep in mind there is no oil pump or filter system. Like most manual transmissions. If you worry about differential problems you should watch the video from Gale Banks on aftermarket covers.
Shavings , not chunks .keep driving 😂
Thanks
Really not a lot. That’s probably mostly from bearing and then the aluminum casting just wearing from the oil cycling.
Thanks
That’s not very much metal at all
As long as it’s fine like sand or powder and not chunks or shavings your probably ok
Better than any diff ive ever done. In one of my ford rangers with the 8.8 about 5 times that much has been coming out every oil change for the last 300k miles.
Nice tour.
Thank you, resort was very relaxing.
Nice mod.
This is my favorite out of all of them.
Nice add on’s. I’ll have to get me some of those. Thanks for the video.
You are welcome, links for the mods are in the discription
I know this is off topic, but how do you insure your Casita. I believe some companies only cover them if they are hook-up to your vehicle, if and when an accident happens and may have limits far lower than the value of your trailer. A video on the ins and outs of properly insuring one would make a great video and where to get repaired.
I have our Casita covered under National General Insurance. If your interested here is the contact info: Overland Insurance Services 800-677-4027. Ours is covered fully at full replacement cost. I don't know and wouldnt trust it being covered while hooked up to the vehicle, what happens if it unhooks going down the road or a storm destroys it while at a camp site and its not hooked up to your vehicle. I have the piece of mind that if its parked somewhere, if someone steals it or it get destroyed by weather that its covered, that my thought. Making a video of properly insuring the RV and where to make repairs sound like a good idea, I would have to do some research first so that I can put out correct information. Thank you for the idea and stay tune for more videos. Thanks for watching.
Never understand 😂 first vas the F32 and then the 10 … 🤷🏻♀️
1. You need to get rid of the Minnie Pearl labels or tags on those pretty aluminum mag wheels. 2. I know you don’t want to hear it, but you need to put one of your remaining monitors on your spare tire.
Excuse my ignorance, will that kill the auxiliary buttons?
@@marcusbrewer12 Your aux battery will not function because it is disconnected.
Had it installed yesterday into a new 2 door Rubicon. Great product….EXCEPT the rear Armor Lite floor is just a mat. It is not designed to attach to the floor, which I think cheapens the product
I know what your talking about I did purchase the rear floor mats which is the same as the front but the rear cargo mat is just a layover like you mentioned.
how look did it take to install the closet? Thank you. Love your video.
@@larrynelson5457 I had Kathy's closet in Houston install it, Luis took less than 2 hours
Thanks For your great videos and the Casita tour you gave us last week.

Pidgeon Forge is a little too “tourist trap” for me but that Margaritaville location is a super nice campground and a great way to escape the Florida heat. Thanks for sharing!
super nice
Great video. We just picked up our Casita a couple weeks ago and I'm already looking for a way to divert that A/C condensation. Your method is similar to what I had in mind. Is the adhesive still holding? I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying it didn't hold up over time in the hot sun. We're in Texas so sun is a big issue.
@@rsm40 How's it going? The adhesive is still strong, wipe it down like I did with alcohol first and it shouldn't be an issue. We have been having over 100 degree weather here for the last two months and no issues. Thanks for watching.
Ok ok ok ok 👌🏻🤦🏻♂️

Cool ! I also glued on a metal window screen on inside of the vent to the left of where you added the screen on the water heater door . I ditched the carpet thing on the step . Never dried out and started rusting the step . I just added some more non slip tape. I just found out Casita is making the 15’ unit called the Patriot. Thanks for sharing! 👍😁
We did our two years ago. A mobile Tint company came by and did it. We kept the tint clear. Our was done to help keep the heat out. Your looks great!

I like the looks of the large solar charger on the camera. Thanks for the review on that camera. 😁👍
This dude needs some training on not saying "Okay".
I’ve never seen one of those ! I changed my manual jack to a telescopic jack . This was so it would not hit my truck tailgate when parked . I also don’t use a weight distribution hitch ! My pickup barely moves when I hook up the Casita ! Thanks for sharing that jack device ! 👍
@@ralphp3057 Your very much welcome
I’m just now seeing this video and wondering how this procedure has been working for you? Any issues?
As of today, no issues at all, working like if it came from factory that way
I like the two tone exterior. Did they have to remove the window screens to do the tint?
The window secreens were not removed to get the tint on.
Did you end up having to get more plugs from Armorlite for the passenger side mat?
No, all the plugs came with the mats
That's everyone's uncle Bobby the lumberjack
I just did this on my sister's 2021 JL 4 2.0 turbo. Works like a charm thanks for this.
Anytime, give me a like and subscribe. Thank you
Do you have to have the tazer in order for this to work? Also what year was your jeep? I have 3 cables on my negative side. One is attached to the post you tighten the entire terminal with. I tried removing those 2 you showed neither worked but one did turn over once but stopped. Maybe the main battery is bad?
No tazer, my jeep is a 2022. Take the battery off and have Auto Zone charge it for free and see if that works.
@@FAFOWeekendAdventures thanks. Mine is 2018 jl
