Great point. My oldest cargo trailer is still holding up after five years in the Florida Sun. If I have to do it all over it will be the same product. You get what you pay for. 👍🏼

I did mobile home repairs for a while and we used silicone on everything on top instead of solar seal or Geocel and it held up great, and when it started to age around the edges we could easily scrub with acetone then apply more. I used Geocel for years before finding Henry and never went back lol cheers!

No. It glides over like paint. Wash the roof good before applying. 👍🏼

The plastic is it strong enuff for an airplane storage/ bulk or you suggest me the bigger version? The jumbo airliner rod case? I usually pack my 2 piece rods in their original custody? How many rods do you think it can carry this way?

Maybe yours is different. In this video installing this third meister, there was no wires being cut and reconnected. It was a simple plug and play.

This particular unit is a 41 foot fifth wheel. It took a total of 3 gallons due to the fact I applied it pretty thick, and also had a large skylight to cover. The year of the unit is a 2012.

@@iair-conditiontheoutsideai3076if your applying this Henry product because your $5-$7 oem roof is leaking or failing…what’s the harm of going the silicone route? Worse senerio…you may eventually have to face that $5-$7k oem roof replacement…if the Henry silicone is a total failure. Seems smart to try the silicone route… Am I missing the logic here?

@iair-conditiontheoutsideai3076 I believe your point is the oem roof should last a lifetime...and that the seams are 90% the source of the leak...thus ...best to professionally fix the oem roof as apposed to going the silcone route? If so... thanks for explaining... it does make sense. 👍

Everyone has their own opinions and that’s fine. I have coated many different types of roofs on many different trailers over the years this product sticks stays for good. I live in Florida in extreme heat and sun. It has worked fantastically in these conditions. Several RV roofs have had micro cracks/splits in them and Henry’s filled perfectly and has lasted years afterwards this saves the owners a lot of money, time, hassle and grief.

Please do not listen to people with just their opinions. I have been applying this for years and it works just fine. I have a lot of experience in doing so.

Two. 1 for first coat and then the same for the second.

This should fix your problem because this unit had a similar issue.

I have used it on many other projects indoors and out and it holds up. Tested in the Florida Sun.

98% will stick. The remaining will be blown or swept out

If you do the prep work correctly, it will last for years. I can tell you after a few years you will see staining.

I would buy two!

That sucks, I've had one for few years it's cheap lite and shoots ok does what I need it to do. I did upgrade the string/cables.

Like everything else there’s always a bad apple in the bunch. May have been a defective bow or maybe incorrect installation by the shop.

I have more than 1500 shots and never had a problem with the bow

What products? Silicone is 100% waterproof. Elastomeric dissolves when exposed to water for more than 48 hours.

Sometimes that will work also. As long as it doesn’t, keep following its position back. Then you will need to adjust it on top like shown in this video.

So far so good. Be sure to use a good quality paint brush.

Yes and no. Started out using a lower quality paintbrush that left nasty looking strokes. I had to re-sand and start over using a more expensive quality brush. Use a quality paint brush👍🏼

33 is a bit to cold, a bit closer to 39-40 is more like it, for the refrigerator section. I only wish my freezer ever got to zero.

It has been sometime ago now so unfortunately I do not remember the temperatures. The thermistor was replaced with this new unit that has more efficient control and variability than the old system that did not.

Just completed a full service on it over the winter. It’s ready for another mowing season. No troubles at all so far. I always follow the manual for service hours and never go over.
