Space Marines are not a "species" per se. They are augmented humans who get a whole bunch of extra organs implanted into them during puberty which causes them to grow to the massive size they are and give them a terrifying array of superhuman abilities. The process is grueling and because the implanted organs need to be cultivated over time to create more for future generations, the numbers of space marines are limited. The thing that scanned you when first entering the bridge is called a servo skull, which is the skull of an actual deceased person (and it is considered to be an honor to have ones remains be able to serve the imperium beyond death like this) outfited with a lot of mechanical parts to perform tasks such as scanning areas or personel, recording and/or delivering messages, etc.

Well it’s certainly my Game of the Year. (Admittedly, I haven’t played Wukong and don’t plan to, just not personally appealing.) And I don’t know of anything releasing later in 2024 that could be better.

When I saw Kay Vess immediately dying to essentially drowning, I’m glad I wasn’t drinking anything, because it would have been sprayed everywhere. As I’d burst out into laughter from the sheer absurdity of it. 4 years and millions of dollars in funding and they forget to add the ability to swim. Bravo. Good job idiots 🤦

I just want to thank you for including Destiny 1, what a genuinely beautiful experience of a game during its life cycle, still saddens me nothing will ever reach what Destiny had achieved.

I know this is a different genre than the games you mentioned, but Astro Bot just recently gave me that good feeling when playing it as older PS2 platformer titles that I grew up & fell in love with. I hope more game developers notice what the community gear towards to and start bringing back those older feel good games rather than time crunched, micro transactions with planned dlc

I just started playing Fallout 3 last week.

Which Mario Kart? As if it’s the N64 version, then you missed out on some of the best games ever made between the NES and SNES. Tetris, Super Mario Bros 1-3, Super Mario World, the Donkey Kong Country trilogy… As regarding video games, the most important part of them is the gameplay, not the story. Some of the best games in history don’t have a story, but phenomenal gameplay. They are called video games, not movies. This is something that console fanboys/girls don’t seem to understand. The story and visuals should be secondary to gameplay.

Wow… I was not expecting this game to be this spectacular. In all honestly, this game didn’t have my attention until 3 hours before launch. The hype pressured me to buy it and I’m glad I did.

And I also can’t sleep. Been up for over 24 hours. Plus I had some things happen that are concerning, one of which is not only a sign of narcolepsy, but gives credence that I have in fact been sleepwalking and eating in that state, as I’ve had food go missing I have no memory eating. As I had went to go to the bathroom, only to suddenly find myself trying to go through a locked front door with no memory of taking that detour, I’d literally fallen asleep walking. Then last night after my shower I’d passed out and found myself on the floor. So I’m gonna make an appointment with my doctor. As I do have brain damage from birth from Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy aka birth asphyxiation. So I’m gonna have the doctor do a CT scan just to make sure there’s nothing more serious going on in my brain. I don’t expect to find anything that isn’t already known though, as brain damage from Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy can in fact cause episodes of syncope (fainting) later in life, as I don’t show any symptoms of a tumor, malignant or otherwise. But it’ll be better to know there’s nothing life threatening going on than making any assumptions. As there’s still much I want to do, like learning to read, write, and speak Japanese, amass my manga, Light Novel, and overall book collection, build a home library, go overseas and see places like Tuscany, Italy, Kyoto in Japan and several other tourist destinations, find a wife….

I love the Titanfall franchise. Been playing the franchise since the first game on Xbox One. I really would love to play Titanfall 2, but I need to get Game Pass back now my PC is built. Went with an i3 12100f and RTX 3050 8GB. For games I can’t run a playable experience, I can just use my GeForce Now Ultimate subscription. As the RTX 3050 8GB has AV1 decoding and is ideal for GeForce Now Ultimate.
