See square?... this.... THIS is all us KH fans wanted out of the interactions between characters. Not just throwing a bone of convenience at the end of the game. But exploring these characters relationships. These are characters that have been at odds with each other and retained baggage. Having them all wake up at once and instantly be friends feels forced and undeserved. Sora and Roxas relationship was built over the course of multiple games and conflict, so it felt natural for them to be friends once he returned. But Roxas and Riku? Cmon. Riku mistakenly helped DiZ enslave Roxas in a fake world. There would definitely be conflict there.

Brilliant stuff yet again, loved Naminé’s speech to Riku. Cannot wait for p.3 of this and p.2 of Conduction when you get around to it!

Lea/Axel's arm muscles look so weird, makes me miss those sleeves of his. Give it time, Riku. Don't force it, shortcuts have never done you any good. And Roxas, don't hold onto to all that anger and hate, it just makes things worse.

Tbf, he's showing anger directly at the wrong person. After Xehanort, there is another real guilty party. He enjoys fighting, right ? Fight the apprentices, Riku and DiZ. Let it all out at that moment. He respects strength above many things after all.

I agree with Xion that holding a grudge against Riku is not worth it (that'll be Sora's job, I trust him to be unbiased enough to let karma/chaos to be fair on the white haired boy). But DiZ has it coming. And it's not as if he's particularly durable, or as if karma is available to handle him properly. There HAS to be someone from the returned who's willing to do the job for her and Roxas. To support them. A second chance is about meaning and self-value. Revenge IS too. Like Dipper said, it's underrated, because some people don't manage it well.

I see the relationship between Sora and Riku, the same way I see Christine/Strange, and early Tony/early Pepper. They have feelings for each other, but Riku always has always to hold the knife, especially when Sora or Kairi are involved. Sora respects him for it, but he doesn't feel ready to love him for it. And before anyone says Sora does the same, he's not the one whose lines in the novels idealize his lover to the point he thinks he has the answer to everything, including the origin of existance. Plus, Sora doesn't WANT to hold the knife. He'd rather help others get the knife. He just doesn't want others to suffer for it.
