It's amazing how much smarthome skills and apps can be helpful in day to day stuff
I love my smart home set up and over the past 8 weeks as a new Dad, I've been exploring how I can integrate and make use of my Smart home on my fatherhood and parenting journey
From tracking baby activity to calming baby down, baby shusher, lighting, alerting you about not enough breathing etc.

Have you used the Gentle Warming feature for expressed breast milk? I find Mam's instructions a bit confusing to be honest!

I love how you removed the toe kick. I did a similar set and turned them into bedside tables. I also removed the toe kick and it makes SUCH a difference.
so does the rest not have a bottom to put the legs without cutting off that little piece?
That is correct. So even if you choose not to cut the toe kick (bottom) you will still need to fit a piece of wood under it so you can fit in your own custom legs. Hope that helps

Thanks for sharing your essentials list (very detailed), although I personally don't think these are all essentials, I guess it depends on the parents and lifestyle etc. but personally I would say to save your coins and narrow the list down to the basic essentials especially in the current financial climate, babies don't need a lot in the early stages. just somewhere to sleep, wash, food to eat, and travel. you've inspired me to do a video on this myself... good luck with your new baby. when are they due? :)
Thanks, lil princess is due in 5 weeks. I agree, lifestyle plays a big part. I started saving super early so that's been my 'saving grace' no pun intended 🙂 that & keeping eye out for deals. Did a video on how I was preparing actually. As this is baby number one, think I'm going/gone a bit all out whilst trying to be sensible. I'm curious to revisit and see what we actually used n didn't. I've Identified charities that help struggling parents to donate anything we don't use. Looking forward to your video. All the best.
