Talking about week 1, why are we still letting a matchup like Hopkins-Denver rot on fuckin Midco Sports Plus? That should be a televised matchup, or at least ESPN+. It’s not even Pioneers All Access or whatever that shit Denver usually uses, I have never heard of Midco Sports in my life.

Strong agree with Shane about goalies. Never met a starting goalie who is normal. I don’t think normal people have what it takes to stand in there, you gotta be some type of weirdo to step towards a 100mph shot.

Talking about PLL top 3 and no one mentioned Grant Ament, that’s criminal. He was the heart and soul of the league champs, one of the best passers in the world already and he said “fuck it, I’m a dodge to shoot guy too now”. Also everyone except Brian saying Blaze over Dobson clearly hasnt learned their lesson from last year.

Great episode. I was wondering when you'd guys be back. I had convinced myself that I didn’t need those trading cards, but now, thanks to Matt, I’m reconsidering. As for sixes, I think it's going to dominate the field game. Especially if it's all the youth players are exposed to. Sixes really ramps up the competition for roster spots, making it harder for players to even get a chance. By the time they hit high school, I imagine it'll be tough for teams to fill their rosters because sixes will have already weeded out so many players.

"Lacrosse practice feels great" is a top quality piece of commentary there from Shane. That was the biggest revelation for me playing lacrosse. I was a football guy before I played lacrosse, but I never really enjoyed football practice. Certain drills were fun, but overall practice was just something I did so I could play in the game. When I started playing lacrosse, my mind was blown by the fact that I was looking forward to practice every day. Outside of when you're doing straight conditioning, every drill in lacrosse practice is fun. GB drills? Hell yeah. Just passing drills? LFG. Three on two/numbers fast break drills? Now we're cooking with gas. Just straight six on six? Incredible. It was rare for me to not enjoy a lacrosse practice.

the Denver v Utah game where BO popped off in the 4th quarter was such a snooze fest before that. Scotty even said he turned it off. But the Md v Ny semi game NO ONE was turning that off. Best game in PLL history

The whipsnakes aren’t washed. Actually, they’re just starting to fire on all cylinders. The whips out scored the archers in the 2nd half. If Zed (who had a hat trick in the 4th qrtr) had found his rhythm earlier the whips would be 3-2 right now

The amount of touches compared to points is an interesting stat to keep watching. Wes Berg is an example of a player that has low touches but is highly productive.

Thoughts on PLL double headers. The home team should start and finish the weekend off. Have them play Friday night and then close out the weekend Sunday evening. Back to back just doesn’t make sense in the pro level. But if you’re gonna keep the back to back, then the home team deserves 1 or 2 more reserve roster spots for the weekend to try and preserve some of their guys and not wear them down too much
