The woman on the roof i’m pretty sure is Stone’s sister, and the detectives, kinda forgot their names, but i think one of them are a bodyguard.

even though this show has a lot of cursing I JUST LOVE how they dont just splat blood everywhere when they are fighting the zombie people like a lot of shows have blood but in this show i see like a bit of blood but its just gone

Here’s my theory on Stone, because apparently I can’t hyperfixate on a character without putting hours of research and effort into them; Stone grew up rich alongside Avrille, Stone’s sister. [That pink-haired woman on the roof I believe to have been Avrille, but I may be wrong.] For those who don’t know, candy is the Ramshackle equivalent of drugs, and Avrille is a candy dealer and producer. A little piece of official art between Stone and Avrille (you can find it on Stone’s wiki page) leads me to believe that Avrille experimented on Stone in his younger years, which is what led him to alcoholism, smoking and candy addiction. He either ran away from home or was abandoned by his family, found by Vinnie and Skipp a little while after while he was in the rain [likely delirious and in horrible condition], and taken in by them. For the time that he was alone on the streets I like to assume he often ate candy in order to have company from Pebble (a hallucination that appears when he has a sugar high) and to just forget about the terrible situation he was in.

I feel like vinnie got thrown out and found by someone who put her in a orphanage. She didn’t get adopted and it was her 28th birthday so she is legally an adult now so she got thrown on the streets alone.

Honestly I think it might be set in an alternate timeline of some kind. But yeah the whole mimicking the 20s thing does make sense, despite everything else having an Old West kinda vibe.

I hadn't made that connection. The horror is not just the usual "chased by monsters resembling toys in spooky twisted nostalgia". It's about Rambley having watched everything he loved get corrupted and become hostile and dangerous even to its former fans, while he was trapped and powerless to do anything about it. I would like to see the main character be able to talk and assert himself; I imagine he'd not just sympathize with the poor AI but feel both sad and angry about what happened. Rambley even briefly says he can sense that the human is angry, not just scared and upset. This video references (~6:30) the meme about "wearing the skin" of something popular, and that is... let's say, it's a widely stated remark lately. So this video touches on something I hadn't consciously thought about while playing. (Watch what fans do with the skunk character.)
