The 28 ga. Is only a slight better than a 410 ga. 3 in. I bought a Remington 28 ga for my wife some years ago, but didn't she like hunting as much I did, so I traded it for something else, I thank it was a Remington 700 bdl. Chambered in 270, I hit hard times and sold it😢, When the good times round , got another one, a Savage, it not as pretty as the Remington but a bug on the target can't jump fast enough Raven out
WhT is the Tristan model?? It would have been nice if you could mention this upfront😊. Thanks
Nice video. Your spot on. Getting a deer is just a bonus. Thanks for sharing! New subscriber!!
Thanks for reaching out. Having time outdoors wiht family and friends is so important to me!!
Vovice!!?
I don’t know but I’ve several autos and I have put the barrels on the gun and seat it, then the forearm and nut on. No trouble at all.
is the 5th choke tube in the barrel?
nothing like it
Amen!!
Amen. Thanks for reaching out!
I have 2 28 gauge . One a Hatfield SAS 28.The other is a 28 gauge Pump Action CZ . The CZ pump is really light weight
Love the vid Jeff, takes me back to the days when we'd see the Monday Nighters in 'ole Three Rivers... those were a lot of fun. Cheers!
Yep. Those were good times. Glad we are having a good season!!! Thanks for commenting!
I’ve always put the barrel on first, then the forend. I’ve got a Tristar 20 and it’s easier to put together also.
Thanks for the ride along, with out music, just nature. I'm new to kayaking ( 1year ) , I've been out on large ponds and small lakes, looking forward to my first river. I'm not a member of a group and don't have others in my circle that kayak, and I know not to go it alone. Thanks again..
Glad you enjoyed the ride. You'll have to let me know how your first river trip goes! Glad you are also finding solace in being on the water!!!
Now you just have to go back to bass pro to get the trigger lock off they forgot to remove.
Great job dude. Looking to build my own pond soon thx for the advice and inspiration 👍🏻
Thanks. We would love to see or hear how it goes!
Thanks. Great video ❤
I would like a 20 gauge pistol. About an 8-in barrel I don't see any around lately though
My first pheasant was taken with a double barrel 28 gage. It was borrowed and I’ve always wanted to own one.
I love mine so far. Looking forward to duck season!!
Got a TRISTAR SA 28 gauge 3 yrs ago. Loved it dove hunting. Not a single hiccup. Bought an O/U TRISTAR .410 afterwards. FAST swinging shotty's the both of them!
Those silicone socks are $10+ apiece.
That breakfast was sooooo good😍can’t wait for some more together 😎
Thanks!! Lokkng forward to many more!!
I've got the SA-20 & love it. If I can make a suggestion .... when you put the barrel onto the gun, leave the wood forend off & the bolt released. The barrel will go ~half way into the receiver, then stop. Now pull the bolt back & the barrel will drop all the way in. Leave the bolt back & install the wood forend & retainer nut.
Thanks so much for the suggestion!! I love this little thing!
No day quite like new gun day.
AMEN!!!
that is a soft shell turtle indeed! They can get big and heavy I had to save one that was lying in the middle of the road and it was quite heavy. Beautiful place you visited...I need to make it down there one of these days!
Thanks for the info!! I can't wait to go back.

Nice video man, my best EVER duck hunting day was way way back in January 1976, location was Guymon, Oklahoma. Senior year in college 4 Senior kids about to graduate. Total that day 44 ducks, we ate ducks the rest of that semester. Still duck hunting in Oklahoma, born raised OKIE. RETIRED oil and gas professional living in Norman, Oklahoma since 1979, age 70. BTW nice place you have to duck hunt at.
Thanks Ricky!! I appreciate all that you shared. It is awesome to hear from others who love to be outside and hunting!
44 ducks with four students, I wish limits were like that still
YEP not kidding, all of us were 21 years old.@@lawsonbenedict6579
