Trent 900:
The Rolls-Royce Trent 900 is a high-bypass turbofan produced by Rolls-Royce plc to power the Airbus A380, competing with the Engine Alliance GP7000. Initially proposed for the Boeing 747-500/600X in July 1996, this first application was later abandoned but it was offered for the A3XX, launched as the A380 in December 2000. It first ran on 18 March 2003, made its maiden flight on 17 May 2004 on an A340 testbed, and was certified by the EASA on 29 October 2004. Producing up to 374 kN (84,000 lbf), the Trent 900 has the three shaft architecture of the Rolls-Royce Trent family with a 2.95 m (116 in) fan. It has a 8.5-8.7:1 bypass ratio and a 37-39:1 overall pressure ratio.

What is that putty that you are using and did you modify it or thin it at all?
@@clubtepes2046 The paste I used is Mr. Dissolved Putty. I use this product without diluting any consistency.
Would you recommend?
@@Modguy555 I recommend you to make this model if you have it in stock. If you don't have it in stock, it would be better to make it from 1/35 scale models.
A good portion of the Type VIIc deck is wood, that was stained with a blue/black paint. Why would you rust it?

Hello modellmate!i build exactly the same kit 3years ago.i must say the kit is tamiya quality and very well Engineert&i had alot of fun building it.there were no flesh or ejecktor pinmarks on viewable places.the manual was easiely 2follow.the kit build like from itself.and I totatally not regret the purchase.i hope you had the lot of fun building like I had.with sticky greetings from Brandenburg germany.faithfully yours.your modellmate.christian

Did you mix the super metallic silver and black paint? If yes, at what ratio did you mix the paint to get the body coloring? Great job!

One thing I accidentally discovered while painting a fat suitcase that sat on a rack on the back of a 30's car kit, was that with dry brush I was able to achieve a suede texture and appearance. I don't have the car anymore, for various sad reasons, but I kept the case. That's probably how I'd go about painting the wood deck..Your overall.approach to this is my kind of idea. I like the idea of peering into the depths of the sea with the notion of dappled light striking a camo surface.

It's a shame to destroy such good work with such bad weathering. The German Admiralty would not have allowed such a rusty boat to dive. This model shows once again the insanity of excessive aging.
All that wire and plastic work you did gave me uncontrollable anxiety that only the beautiful music you chose could cure. Great job on this

Eduard have come a long way from when you got a half dozen plastic pieces with soft details and everything else was photo etch. I still have a bunch of those kits in storage.
