the dramatic zooming in when you start playing LOL
I know I can't resist over using editing tools.

Great job, Kenneth!
Sounding pretty darn good Ken. Checking out djl tomorrow to fix my peavey xxx 40 watt combo with effects. God bless.
thanks for checking in and DJL will fix you up !!
Great amp, shit reverb
Had the effect loop to add better verb.
Some very soothing somber sounds coming from from Ken Mickey. Liking it much!
I hate my 5e3x2 on Tele. Sounds great on my Les Paul, but these old tweeds just won't get you into chicken pickin' land with a Tele. They're very hard sounding amps. There's nothing like the scooped mids of a 60s Fender with a Tele.
5e3x2 ? Is that a two 12 inch speaker amp ? May need different speakers.
4 6V6's and 2 x12. Essentially a Victoria Double Deluxe clone. Speakers have nothing to do with it. There's a reason not one famous Tele player uses tweeds.
Keith Richards uses Teles and Tweeds.
Sure, but he's hardly a twang master or a speed demon. Try doing some Redd Volkaert or Johnny Hiland quick runs on the rear pickup. It's just impossible. That's why all the good guitarists Nashville are using blackface type amps. However, someone gave me some advice to try that might work. I had already tried lowering the coupling cap values, and it didn't help much at all, but I've been told that lowering the cathode resistor bypass cap from 25 uF all the way down to 4.7 or even less will remove a lot of the fartiness and make the amp more playable. I'm gonna give it a try this week, maybe even today yet. I'll let you know if it works. I would love to keep this amp if I could.
I have no idea why you'd buy this amp if you want to play like that. Also, teles are great for far more than 'chicken pickin'.
You sound great Ken
Which Jensen are you using here C12Q or something else?
+Kitarist88 Jensen C12Q 12" Ferrite Speaker 8 OHM 35W www.mojotone.com/Speakers_x/Jensen_x/Jensen-C12Q-Speaker-12-Ferrite-35W-1-25-Voice-Coil-8-OHM
if you crank the volume youre NOT using itll get nice and dirty.
+Nicholas Fanzo good point ! I didn't address the linked volumes ( amp has two inputs and two volumes) of the circuit. And adjusting the one your not plugged into does alter overall tone.
+Ken Mickey its becomes a very dirty neil young tone. love your amp
Thanks
How well do you think one of these would hold up in a band setting?
Ken, tell me about the 4 dots on the body of tele, behind the bridge.
Junior Russell Good eyes ! It had a Bigsby B50 on it for awhile. Heres a photo of those days: facebook.com/kenmickeymusic/photos/pb.726241920794222.-2207520000.1425898941./726247250793689/?type=3&theater
Awesome demo! Awesome tone!
Awesome sounding little amp! Wow!
Light weight and loud.
That is my amp except I have the 2x10 version and they are sweeeeet
I used it as a head for a three ten cab and it was to loud !! (If that's possible)
Got at a Pawn Shop for $450 about two years ago. They are Made in USA and tube so I think I got a deal. Plenty loud and work well. I never had any issues.
ken how much did you pay for the kustom if you dont mind me asking? I have an opportunity to bid on one and not sure what they usually go for used. Also, have you had any issues with yours? thanks!
That phone is loud. Like 100 watt half stack loud.
I bet that house phone on the wall has a killer vintage tone
Awesome. These things are rare. I only tested it for a friend and he sold it. I would have let you have if to poke around in and see how they did it.
Thanks for this video. I'm building the same vox tonebender and I'm using this video as a tone reference to base my build by, since I don't have an actual one.
Sounds just great !!! Working on a Mojotone 5e3 myself. Can't wait 'til it's finished.
Did you finish it, and do you like it?
I only had that pedal for a few days. Only thing I remember was the battery wiring had been replace (I think) and it looked stock. It was "explosive" sounding for sure.
hi, does that 'talian vox fuzz of yours have same cicuit board as british ones or it has a volcanized board? i like this one into the link below(join the blanks), what tone differences between yours and this? your talian version seems less crispy sound, and smoother. am i right? h t t p : / / w w w . youtube . com/watch?v=ohT4Chsa8hs if its too booring join blanks, it's faster copy this title: Tone Bender MKII tonebender Professional MKII Vox Sola Sound
Go to 1:45 to hear strumming and picking.
Thanks for checking in. More amp demos coming soon and pedal testing to be put into full production in near future.
Sounds great..
