2019 Registered FBH Friesian Cross Mare | Dressage, Combined Driving Prospect
V & M's Onita is a pretty 3/4 Friesian 1/4 Percheron-Dutch Harness Horse Cross Mare with a beautiful way of moving. She's registered with the Friesian Blood Horse Registry, is a granddaughter of Mintse 384 and stands 15.2 hands. Onita has lots of potential as a dressage prospect or even combined driving. She is located near Shipshewana, Indiana.

Onita is a dream under saddle - she picks up both leads and will move off leg pressure. She has smooth floaty gaits, so we think she could become a dressage horse with additional training. We have also ridden Onita on various trail rides and on our obstacle course. She's been desensitized to the tarp, crosses bridges and logs without a fuss. We have also ridden her with our exotic animals - camels, cattle and birds on our farm. We have driven her in our animal park and on the road, however, she is sensitive to loud traffic on the road. The worst officiating in the history of the State Tournament. Complete travesty.
This was my first experience at the state tournament. I was 19 years old. Jr Raber has been stuck in head since this game. I loved basketball and this game in person forever made me a high school basketball fanatic. Also Greg Simpson from Lima Sr and Keith Gregor from Lakota. Man this was a great first State final four to see.
It's weird watching an overfed Venezuelan criollo horse, they are usually very light and languish in frame compared to the Argentinian ones. Beautiful.

The owners I work with train horses for others to enjoy. Kids grow up by the way. I don’t think a 14 year old is going to be able to ride him, do you?
@sugarbushequinemarketing I'm 61 and a pony like that is perfect for me - because he drives (!) They use smaller ponies for VSE (very small equine) CDE competitions. He could drive an adult with no problem. Sadly he would have a lot of owners if he's sold everytime a kid gets a few inches taller...
