Mazda 3 vs a mazda 6, both far from stock. Almost zero difference between the two. The 3 is equipped with a bnr S1 turbo, upgraded tmic, 3port ebcs, cai and a full 3 inch (catless) from the turbo to the back. The 6 has a CST4 turbo, FMIC, 3 port ebcs, short ram (stock diam.) vtcs delete and a 3 inch catless downpipe.

Did a dragy run with the new map. Still having some problems somewhere in the drivetrain. Think the car is actually slightly quicker. Cold start of my mazda 6 mps. The car has a 3 inch corksport catless downpipe, a powerflow 2,5 inch catback and also a second cat delete. Car is currently running around the 370-400HP

Crazy thing is.. the speed3 drove on semi slicks during these weather conditions. Both cars are running around 22PSI, but different turbo's and a different intercooler set up. both cars are running their 8th tune map from their tuner. Last time the mazda 6 was a little bit quicker(based on 100-200kmph times) but this speed 3 with this really quick spooling beast of a turbo is the faster car now. Defenitely visiting the autobahn together in the future when we take the tuning ...

My Mazdaspeed6/Mazda 6 MPS vs a Honda civic type R with stage 1 (362HP). Did multiple runs that night, our cars are almost evenly quick. Both of us had 1 passenger on board. Been really suprised about the result given the fact that the speed 6 is a heavy car with a lot of drivetrainloss trough the always on 4wd system.

    Surprising bnrs1 keeping up with cst4. But top end of ms6 was better

      Yes indeed! The bnr S1 delivered almost the same power, that turbo has got some more low end torque. But don’t forget the ms6 is 200kg heavier and has more drivetrain loss due to 4x4. Now both cars are running a cst4, the ms3 is a bit faster but I can still keep up with him

      In my opinion the cst4 is the better choice! The BNR S1 of the speed 3 died not long after this video. The CST4 can cope with the heat much better, and deliveres more power higher in the rpm range. The S1 was way quicker in the lower RPM

    Upgraded turbo doesn’t really even matter unless you have the fuel to run more boost you’ll always be between 320-375

      You can run around max 400hp on these cars, which is way more than stock. So upgraded turbo do matter don’t they?

      With stock fueling it’s all dependent on who spools faster/drives better . no matter what turbo you’re running it’s not passing 400

      ​@brotherhood_ofstreetracers4268 I agree ...and I want to get either the S1 or S2 max for my genjuan 3 if you have any input please?...I had a bnr 2867 on a big turbo ST build I did and would buy another BNR it ran hard and no issues for 15k I owned it and when it was soldbut it was the 2867 definitely bigger than s1 or s2 and changed the spool in a way for me that was less enjoyable(think the massive amount of fmic piping makes a big difference in lag to)..I was thinking about getting the s1 or s2 with the speed3 and oe style but better top mount and the full sopporting mods in a simple way not trying to go crazy or make crazy power at all want to keep it semi reliable for what it is haha but the main thing is I want that initial punch still that the 2867 diddnt have as much but did make more and more linear power..what one do you think would ve closest to stock with a bit ore mid-mid High rpm power?

      Thanks! Drives like a dream, my best time so far now is a 11.54 but I think it could be under 11s when I do a little bit extra work on the drivetrain. What are your dragy times?

      @@colinslager I have a Mazda Cx-7 on the same CST 4 turbine. Now I will add a collector and downpipe I will redo and configure. I also want to drive faster than 13 seconds 100-200, but I'm not sure what will happen yet.
