First Aluminum Can Melt
มุมมอง 1253 ปีที่แล้ว
My first aluminum can melt in my home-built furnace. I melted approximately 350 aluminum cans and poured aluminum "cupcakes" using an old cupcake tin. That allowed me to separate off most of the slag (dross) and gave me higher quality aluminum ingots for future melting/pouring/casting. Watch out fire ants! I'm coming for one of your mounds soon!
Baby Hawks in the nest lunch is served
มุมมอง 534 ปีที่แล้ว
We have a nesting pair of Red-Shouldered Hawks in the woods behind our house, and we have been enjoying watching and listening to their nesting activities. I have setup an old telescope that my late father built many years ago, and we've been able to get a rather nice close-up view of the 2 babies in the nest and mom/dad coming and going with food. Here is a few video snippets of some of the ac...

Flat Calm Morning on Lake Ontario
มุมมอง 706 ปีที่แล้ว
An irresistibly calm and beautiful morning to fly my home-designed and built H-quad on the south shore of Lake Ontario near Rochester, New York. Flown on the morning of July 3rd, 2018 at my in-laws' cottage in Greece, NY, about four miles west of where the Genesee River flows into Lake Ontario. My wife and I were in town for July 4th week, and she graciously agreed to my flying and filming whil...

Trying to catch water balloons dropped from my hexacopter drone
มุมมอง 1147 ปีที่แล้ว
My good friend Allen trying (and somewhat succeeding on tries 3 & 4) to catch water balloons dropped from my home-built hexacopter (drone). You'll see a total of 4 balloon drops (2 flights) from different altitudes ranging from approximately 100 - 200 feet above my backyard pool. My home-built hexacopter can carry two 8-ounce water balloons at a time and the balloons are dropped from 2 "bomb ba...
Dropping Water Balloons from my Home-Built Hexacopter Drone
มุมมอง 1727 ปีที่แล้ว
I finally got around to designing and building a mechanism for dropping water balloons (or other fun items) from my home-built hexacopter drone. I've been wanting to do this for some time. In this video I am dropping two 6-ounce water balloons via radio control, with each landing in my backyard pool. Near the end of the video you can see the two water balloons floating in the pool (near the lad...

FPV Fun with Geese 1080p
มุมมอง 617 ปีที่แล้ว
The Canada Geese outside our work building are worse than dogs... All they do is eat and S@#$, and make a big mess on the walking trails, exercise equipment and basketball court. So, we try to "encourage them" to "move on." The company has even invested in fake coyotes (you can see some in the video of you look closely), as well as pole-mounted outdoor speakers that pipe out "goose in distress"...

OMG THATS MY OLD SCHOOL. IM 12 AND LOOKING BACK AT IT WHEN I WAS THRIVING AT 6 YRS OLD. CLASS OF 2011-2012
Funny story as to how I came upon this video. I recently just got back from a band trip to Disney World and on our last night of the trip we were in Magic Kingdom. I stopped by a gift shop near the Dumbo ride to get some shirts and as I was checking out I met someone who's name I've forgotten (and I can't find my receipt at the moment. We got to talking, as I explained that we were down there for a musical workshop, and come to find out played French horn and marched mellophone in high school. After talking for a few minutes she explained how when she was in band that the parents would dress up and "march" the halftime show. Long story short she wrote down on my receipt to search up "marching knightmares penn" (or something like that as I can't find the receipt but that is what I remember her saying). That's how I've come to find this video, which was hilarious. So cool to see how something as band can immediately connect two people on a level that others cannot understand.
Great quality photography!
I was just here last week end and I told my son we needed to come back and fly my quad off of the top of this mountain. I am surprised you did not fly out past the edge and get some shots from out there. In the second session, is that snow? What was that for? Fly safe, we fly at lunch, come join us.
As I mentioned in an email to you... I chose not to risk flying out "over the edge". It was windy, and I didn't like the "no-man's land" beyond the fence and before the edge. An unplanned landing there would be a big problem. And as I also pointed out -- I made this flight months before I found out that flying drones is now prohibited in Stone Mountain Park. That is unfortunate, but that is also the way of things sometimes.Yes... fly safe. Safety is my #1 priority. We all need to fly safe to keep this hobby of ours from being legislated out of existence.
very nice video my friend i subbed! i also have quadcopter channel i was wondering if you would mind check out my new channel!
Nice shot. Take a look at my latest drone video at the barn nearby here. th-cam.com/video/tPtTnia64-w/w-d-xo.html&lc=z12owltp0xfyx3xq304cfvy4wybozr0x0dk&feature=em-comments
Nice flying over mountains
+UP 5199 Productions --Thanks. Though it is called Arabia Mountain, I consider it more of a "bump" of rock when compared to other mountains. A fun little place to hike around though, fly, and get some aerial video. This was on a Friday afternoon during a school/work week so I nearly had the place to myself which was nice for this novice pilot.
Nice flying!!
Nice!! Check out this aerial footage i got yesterday at the dam!! th-cam.com/video/upMj035hMK8/w-d-xo.html

Pennbrook!!
GO DALE!!!!
You can fly in first person with those? How do you send the signal? I'm guessing the wifi would only take you so far.
We had the wi-fi to my friend's iPhone, but the signal is delayed a good 3 seconds and has limited range... you do NOT want to fly FPV with a 3 second delay. Yes, we can fly First Person... when I obtain the proper video transmitter and receiver, then I will be good to go. My HAM license allows me to legally transmit the video from the craft.
So cool Dean! All your r/c toys were so much fun
I'm going to pennfield next year
they must have loved that u brought 10 people
I felt like the band over powered the choir
I think that this sounds great! They obviously worked very hard to do this. It reminds me of my days in chamber choir for Springfield North High School in Ohio. Those where the golden years!
Love it.
omg!!! I am part of the strayer Jazz band 2011 - 2012 and were doing this same song in febuary. But there is a new director Joe Santanello !!!

Dr. Giersch retired. Matthew Klenk is now the choral director at North Penn High School. He is now in his third year, and is doing a fantastic job. Hard to follow in Dr. Giersch's footsteps, but Klenk has done a great job, and the kids really like him too.
@SuperAgaden Yeah.. it was probably because the tempo was so fast >.< I don't remember it going that quickly when I performed it in my high school choir..
@LilMissLacy1128 I agree - I don't like the fact that they miss the 'd' off the 'And', in the all important opening line 'And The Glory, The Glory of The Lord!'
I have to say this is an impressive effort from a school choir - they did very well to manage the harmonies, and the pianist did a good job. The tenors sounded a bit flat though, and I find it hard to hear the American accents coming through - but overall good job. :-)
great job mr. stahl!
it is possible to play all notes.. even at this tempo
Go Mr Stahl!
MR.STAHL!!
Dr. Giersch no longer teaches choir at North Penn?
Mr. Cain!!!!!
What happened to the 2nd trumpet's solo?!
We absolutely love this song!!!!!! (my band)
i hated that this was our first time playin together infront of an audience, but i loved the fact that we kicked ass the rest of the year!!!
man, where do you work that they allow that???
MR NEU!. WHOO!
