Hey man, great looking bike. I have the same turn light you do and my top running lights are white and the bottom is amber for the turn signal. Are you sure you hooked them up right?
To be completely honest with you man, I took my bike to my local dealer and had them wire them in cus I didn’t want to do the wiring job.😂 I mean they could be wrong, but they look just fine to me.

I have a pair of aftermarket lowers for a FXRT. Are there any differences from the lowers from BMC? I was wondering if I could make them work?
I don’t have any experience with the fxrt lowers, but I don’t think they will fit the mounting locations are probably different and the upper molding probably wouldn’t fit as tight as the tol bmc lowers that are designed for the new st fairings
Your arm is in the way of the camera. If it ticks after the valve adjustment then slightly loosen the 4 nuts holding the cover down (and pulling up on the rocker shafts). Spec is .008" intakes and .012" exhausts)
Check out my videos on my channel just did an adjustment and it wasn’t much of an adjustment everything was in spec 😂

Yeah i always wanted to build a fxrt I have an 89fxrt that someone distorted the look of the original bike. So in doing the lowers it gives me that big wall front end like the old bike had
It would be awesome if someone came up with the faring hole light delete thing.
I talked to a bike shop to see if they were done to do it but I found this solution instead. Would be cool to get into the 3d printing world to do that and make some fxrp light pockets for this bike too
Can you put any engine guards or highway pegs on after installing the fairings?
I know that you can run crash bars / engine guards from what I have seen from other people, I’m not sure about high way pegs. I do know that you can not run forward controls. Hope this helps.
Where do the turn signals go? Can you install those with some type of engine guard?
I have another video on my page explaining the turn signal relocation. And yes you can run a lower engine guard, I think you just have to modify them a little bit

Where do the blinkers mount? Does enough air reach the cylinders? Will it work with forward foot controls?
I did an update video on my page for a turn signal relocation. They Mount to the front forks. And yes the way the fairing is designed it doesn’t block air getting to the heads and the motor it’s almost forced in. And I am almost 100% sure that you can’t run forward controls on the bike after doing the fairings because of the front mounting tabs on the bottom. Hope this helped you should check out my relocation video if you have questions on the turn signals.

How do you like those lower fairings at higher speeds?? Nice Harley!!
It’s a world of difference. Since the riding season just pick up in Washington and I have about 1300 miles on them rn and they are amazing. They block a lot of wind from your legs and the morning rides at 5:00 in the morning at 45 degrees it’s doable with just jeans at 80mph. They don’t move at all on the highway they are solid.

Where did you get that sissy bars?
The sissy bar is an Edward Richie sissy bar you can search him on Google or on Etsy. The pad is a saddle man 11 inch tall if I remember right I used the hardware that came with that pad so no need to get new hardware.

I’m getting my lowers back from paint tomorrow, I’ll have to make a video because it’s been a journey. Might have some tips on filling the gaps and protecting the paint at the bolts if my plan works haha
I sent back 3 sets of lowers to finally get the ones on my bike now. They would always come chipped so I know how you feel. Stay strong👍

How was ur experience ordering from TOL
So I ordered my lowers from the sister company bmc and back in December and after getting my first set of lowers there was a big chip out of the fairings, so I spend probably 2 months going back and forth with bmc trying to get a decent pair of lowers that weren’t chipped because of our mailing service. I sent back 3 pairs of lowers before I got a set that were good. The last set I didn’t even bother talking with bmc and went straight to tol and there was a guy there that I spoke to on the phone that got me all hooked up. I did have two sets of hardware kits and the bolts in one set didn’t work at all but the other set did so idk haha the guys at tol were a big help. Hope that helps

You said clearance is tight but you'd want riders to make them pop, so which is it? Do they clear lock to lock or do you need risers for em?
They clear at full lock with the stock bars, but I would suggest to get risers for the hand guards to be more visually appealing. Hope that helps
