If you are going to make a schematic this simple, you MUST show how to determine the polarity of the LEDs. Furthermore, you haven't really shown how to adjust the pots. You can diddle them until you get a "sort of" operation, but there's no guarantee the levels really tell you anything useful about the battery state. Finally, some beginners will not realize you MUST adjust the pots for every different battery type.
