Rausch Creek Blue / Black Trails - Krawling for Cops 2023
This past June we attended the Krawling for Cops charity event at Rausch Creek off-road park. Our group covered mostly blue and black trails. On this ride I borrowed a 2010 2dr Jeep JK while mine was in for repairs.

A Green Blue Ride with the North Jersey Jeep Club. Trails covered were mostly Green and Blue including the Quarry and Crawler Ridge. I'm driving my friends 2010 2 door JK today as mine Crawler is still under the knife and my new JL is having a few upgrades installed.
Jeep JL Wrangler CMM Offroad Mirrors

Today we take a look at the removable doorless mirrors offered by CMM Offroad: cmmoffroad.com After searching for a sturdy and easily removable mirror option for going doorless this summer, I pulled the trigger on these well made mirrors.
If you have a JL Wrangler, just might want to get one of these! J&L Oil Separator for my 392.
มุมมอง 846ปีที่แล้ว
I noticed a puff of blueish smoke upon start up on my 5K mile 2022 Wrangler 392. After some research, it appears to be a common condition due to blow-by on the HEMI engines. Installing a catch can allows the blow-by to be contained and discarded so that carbon buildup does not occur. I turned to J&L Oil Separators who makes a solution for all Jeep Wranglers, regardless of engine type. (3.6, 2.0...

    Ok I realize this video is an older one. But I believe that if your vehicle is newer than late '90s you should get rid of SAE and only carry metric that will help you to make your tool kit smaller

    Honestly not needed. Plus i've never seen a clean design . Too many hoses on top of the engine. At least not as much as the Bronco spaghetti bowl design. Nice video tho.

      $290. That's a lot of money for what they are. What do you do with the mirrors when you put the doors back on?

    • @jeepingwithjon
      @jeepingwithjon ปีที่แล้ว

      @@32phoenixx they store in a nice bag to keep them from getting scratched up. I keep them in a tote that I have in the back of the jeep.

    Does the mirror impede your vision at all? Or do you think you'd adjust to it being in that position and never think twice about it?

    • @jeepingwithjon
      @jeepingwithjon ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn’t impede vision at all. Best of all, it gives great rearward visibility like the real mirrors. Every time you take the doors off and put them on you would need to set the mirrors again, but if you left your doors off you’d never have to touch them. Love them.

    Curious how quickly that container fills? And if it was to fill up all the way it would be tough getting that out without spilling all over the motor? But simple installation and I think it’s a good idea👍👌

  • @anon4747

    hey brother just wondering if you needed the seat with the holes for installation

    • @jeepingwithjon
      @jeepingwithjon ปีที่แล้ว

      These are a 4 point harness so I didn’t need the hole in the seat bottom between your legs. Regarding the top shoulder harnesses, It would depend on the shape of the upper portion of your seat whether or not holes are required. I purchased these seats because they had the holes for the harness in them, they help properly position the belts on your body that way. Keep in mind without holes, the belts would just flop off to the side and be very annoying to buckle back up. Hope that helps.
