Hello Sir, I am currently based in Nigeria and I just started taking your free DevOps course. It has been super insightful and I have also learnt a whole lot in just 7 classes so far. However, I'm currently stuck as I can't complete my AWS free tier account setup due to payment method verification issues. I have tried both Visa & master debit cards, all to no avail. They are all related. First, understand Cloud Computing and the value it brings, then DevOps. DevOps is a Philosophy, and that means you have a lot of tools to learn Cloud inclusive. Python is suitable for automation. It can come last once your fundamentals are solid.

Is there a difference between the recursive. [-r] and [-R]
Not really. But it depends on where you use it. -r is usually used with commands like cp, rm while -R is used mainly with chown or chmod

Thankyou very much Sir for the detailed lessons. Following the steps in this project, I have been unable to launch more than 1 free tier instance. I'm new to AWS and I have no prior running instances. Is anybody having a similar issue?
AWS usually validates your account the first time you try to create a resource in any region. They typically send you an email once the validation is completed. If you didn't receive any email, you could raise a support ticket on the aws platform. Also, check if your credit card has been confirmed as well. I hope that helps.
@@alausaseun Thankyou for your response. For clarity, my account has been validated and I successfully launched the first instance. However, I could not proceed with the other two instances using the same instance type (t2.micro) used in your lessons. The error says I have requested more vCPU capacity than my current limit of 1 allows . Thank you once again for your response Sir.
