@@bongecabd depends with the type of crops you plant....the topography of the land and soil type... As for this land water is dug in the middle hence supply is constant and when needed. Water is made available by a pump.

@@lukaz254 basically Nakuru municipality became Nakuru city. It was one of the very few municipalities as back then it was the second biggest town after Nairobi in Kenya. Obviously it’s growth stagnated for various reasons including being held from building higher because the technology back then didn’t allow for a city on the floor of the Rift valley and also next to a caldera (basically with a caldera in it) to expand vertically. That has since changed in the past very few areas. We are still limited on how high we can go, but we can go higher than before.

There's little traffic because of sparse population of these regions....people are few here...they are concentrated near water sources...

It's during president Moi era. I think it was built in 1985. There was another bridge just next to it that was built in the colonial times but was demolished coz it was very low incase of flooding..water could touch it hence risk of being swept away... The current one is very high.. In terms of maintenance...I haven't seen anything coz it's just intact and shows no signs of weakness or collapse. The only thing I see is heightened security. Police manning the bridge on both ends...a barrier is erected on both ends.
