Absolutely not buy.They are not liquid,the craftsmanship is rubbish compared to buying Mexican libertads, American eagles , maples etc.

My opinion is a good money maker considering that some coins going for crazy money example the 2008 2oz rat for $800. 2oz 2009 ox for over $200 , 2oz 2010 tiger for over $200. Mintage did increase because the collectors increase to. If you guys want to make some money find some 2021 1/2 oz colored ox. Price will go nuts on it

Lunar 1oz is limited in mintage every year. So that's what you need to buy.

I’m buying series 1 only! I try to see what APMEX sells them for and I try to buy on EBay for 25-30%. The Mouse on APMEX is $139 for 1oz and $299 for 2 oz. The tiger, ox, and mouse of series 1 are best and real low mintages. The 2oz series 1 and much more valuable. I wish I had a better way of their real-time value other than EBay? Lmk

I think these are like anything else-If you are buying for investment reasons then only buy low and sell high. Buy these first day of availability and wait a few years to sell. I just buy Perth mints because they are beautiful. I don't plan on ever selling them. Its all a numbers game with investing, but we have to enjoy our lives at some point. thanks for sharing. 2020 I'm still buying tubes I like the series 3 better than 2 so far but neither compare to the og series one. I will always buy the kooks even with every mint in the world making high premium silver now the kooks are still my favorite. You hit the nail on the rawanda rooster call, that's a great series and the rooster is hard to get now at a decent price

My friend, you have made the classic bullion mistake... You have gone all numismatic rather then just bullion. If you like play-things great!!! If you are an investor... You buy poured bars... Just like the banks.

depends on the year, and price . overall theres many in circulation, but if you can find them for cheap, go for it.

I stopped collecting silver all together. Silver plummeted after 2008 and then I just lost interest. If you were to collect or stack I'd just stick with 1/10th ounce gold coins . Gold is better than silver.

Why everyone like's the Pert Mint is because of the Quality of the Coin's. I just buy the Coin's that I like I do not try to flip.

Some like the Pig and others are terrible looking. The Dragon, Tiger, Horse and Dog. Are the only ones that I'll ever buy. I collect coins I like and only stack rounds, bars and the like. I'm not a flipper and probably never will be. Passing down all just the caretaker now and occasionally take them out to enjoy their beauty. Perth does mint beautiful coins for collectors and others for stackers/flippers. I love Dragon and Tiger coins. In 2000 Perth did start going overboard coming up with all the different designs they could think of for the Y.O.D. and then more so in 2012. The most beautiful coins they (to me) minted were the 2017 2oz Gold PF HR Dragon and Phoenix and 2018 Dragon and Tiger and those were commissioned by lpm.hk.

Hello Misfit... I also got the 2018 Kookaburra and I really agree with you that it is one of the most beautiful of this series. Mr. Vegiita has a video showing all of the Kookaburras that have been made so it was great to see them all. I am surprised the Proof Sovereigns did not come in capsules... are you sure they are Proof? I have yet to acquire a gold Sovereign... one day....

Misfit Stacker... You were fortunate to be able to buy that lovely Swan coin in gold. I got my 2018 1 oz gold Swan with Cignet a week or so ago and couldn't put it down all evening... These swan coins are just stunning... Now I want them in silver too, but the first one is very hard to get now. The Canadian coin is wonderful... wish I had that one! I do have a 1939 silver Canadian coin with King George on it.

truth is i dont buy lunar coins i do want the gold but only if its a great deal.. as of yet i think i only have the 1/10 th oz gold because it was a good deal.. i have the kilo rooster only because its a gift for our son whos lunar year happens to be the rooster.
