Andrea, you should definitely visit Iran someday. It is crazy how little we know in Europe about this country, we are only informed when shit happens. So many gems ti visit in such a friendly country.

Hola Arzhang! Thanks so much. I have very nice memories from my trip to Iran, I will definitely come back to see the rest of the country. I visited Teheran, Shiraz, Isfahan and Yazd. Do you recommend me any other areas?

Alberto Barambio Canet Hola Alberto , i like the name . i am Glad you liked it here . well you have visited the routine tourist route ,which is After landing in Tehran , Isfahan then Shiraz and Yazd on the way back to Tehran . but Iran could be divided into 4 or 5 different countries from the environmental or climate pr demographic Perspective . in the west and north west there are many places you can visit ,from Kermanshah and Hamedan you can travel north to East and west Azerbaijan Provinces which are very rich in Rural products which are very famous and organic and in Spring you HAVE to visit there .and of course there are a lot of historical sites also in the west. then there is the Famous NORTH . Green long east west route between the Alborz mountains and the Caspian sea . it is the most popular travel route in Iran i guess . then in the south you will feel like you are no longer in Iran but in one of the Persian Gulf monarchies . Hormozgan and Boushehr and oil rich khouzestan are the 3 Provinces in the south. Khouzestan is where i was born bordering Iraq in south west corner of Iran.and also there are many Historical Sites in Ancient Susa which is called Shoosh now. and Shoosh Danial where Prophet Daniel is Buried . and there is the east , from the top , north east , east side of the Caspian sea , you have the Turkman Sahara which are different people , then you can visit Mashhad City where is a sacred religious city for all Shiite Muslims and the Great and beautiful Imam Reza Shrine. there are lots of woldlife there if you have a guide and equipment you can go hiking . then bordering Afghanistan down to Pakistan there is mostly desert .and in south east there are Balooch people but not a very good tourist Attraction Place. and do not forget the Islands of The Persian gulf . for example in the Hormuz Island the earth and mountains are in all colors . you can search on the internet .they hold festivals annually where they paint huge paintings with earth of all different colors . if you come to stay a fool month and you have buddies here ,there are MANY places to discover .believe me . places where we as Iranians do not see in a lifetime . i wish you make it .

Woooow, thanks so much for the recommendations. I am moving to Mexico in a few days, so I will focus on Latinoamerica during my next trips. But I will definitely come back to Iran someday and visit those places. Cheers!
