back in the day, there were several places just before the bridge at 10:25 where you could drive down to the creek and spend the night. also several sections of the old coast highway south of crescent city and past the klamath river which have long since been closed. i'm so grateful for many amazing memories car camping through this enchanted area in my 1969 vw bus.
Sweet story.
what vehicle did you have, can i do it in a car
Brings back great memories when I was last there... Good times.
Beautiful, and even better if you watch at 50% speed, mute, and put on some music.

Hi. Nice video. Is this the drive from coyote buttes south to white pocket? Trying to make sure I can get grom one to the other as I have a pass for cbs and want to do all at once. Thanks!
Such a beautiful mountain!
Just posted a video on my visit to Coyote Buttes South last week. This is an amazing place.
Thank you for sharing. It`s the best print on internet!
I'm pretty sure that was the majestic lift, I'm not sure tho. also, FINALLY SOMEONE WHO LIVES NEAR ME!!!!
Bellísimo video FELICIDADES.
Why do they zig zag and take up the whole path like at 4:35
This looks so fun, cannot wait for my first ski trip to Brighton in a couple months! What camera overlay is that?! very cool
I want to ski so badly. Its only a few weeks away but it feels like an eternity.
Did I really see two idiots wearing a mask while walking through an ancient forest at 11:00? Wow. You traveled thousands of miles to smell your own bad breath instead of the magnificent, natural scents of an ancient forest. How thoughtful. It's literally a miracle that mankind, the vermin that we are, never logged this incredible area decades ago. It's a testament to God's mercy that we still have old growth forests and untrammeled public lands not infected by human development. Humanity has got to be the worst (and occasional best) thing ever created. By far, flies, mosquitoes and ticks are the filthy garbage of the earth. I'll never understand why God made those wretched insects to create hell on earth. We could have succeeded at this very easily ourselves.
😈😈😈
Just a bit too zippy on the gas and unnecessarily creating potential traffic collisions. Years ago,the pace in these areas was more considerate and not speed driven. Slow the F Down.
"Zippy," indeed! In order to actually appreciate and enjoy the visual beauty, I had to play the video at 50% speed. Even the reduced speed seemed a little too speedy. I can't imagine that the vehicle was traveling as fast as the video seemed to indicate? Beautiful area, though.
Just go there yourself and quit whining.
@@roncooper8666 first thing I thought of, not possible for me to feel at one with the trees at that pace. Turned it off, deeply disappointing.
Love Johnny's Bass
Jedediah Smith stout redwood grove is that parks name!
It’s actually Jedediah Smith State and National Park. Stout was a family that donated land to the state. Stout Grove is a grove with a parking lot, and bathrooms.
Jedediah smith redwood state park and campground is off hwy 199. It starts at the end of elk valley rd and goes thru to 199. Stout Grove is it's own park. It starts at the end of Holland Hill rd and goes thru to hwy199. I lived at the base of the hill since 68. You miss a lot driving thru. You need to park and walk the road. You'll get the smells, sounds and the berries along the road when in season.
@@tombosanko3085Stout Grove is simply a grove within Jedediah Smith State and National Park.
Great video to show the Mary back trail. But that is the Majestic lift you used there! Awesome bluebird day !
Very smooth camera work. What was this filmed on?
LOVE Brighton! Fly from O'hare in the a.m.... skiing night at Brighton/Tantamount runs... Utah ROCKS!!!

We hiked this area two weeks ago with a guide from Dreamland Tours. It is almost better than Coyote Butte North and the Wave. Everything here is so close to each other. The Southern Wave was very beautiful
Looks fun. Great picture quality. I'm going in March!!
I wish hope and pray that I will be able to see Avenged Sevenfold live before I die it's on my bucket list
I grew up on a ranch in southern AZ. Unless there's something that doesn't show, that's a better road than I drove home on every day.
Have Yal seen the live confessions in lbc with the rev? Whenever I show my home theater to friends I always play that video It kicks so much ass!
NIce!!1
Thank you for posting this video, I really enjoyed the up-close hiking view you gave us, and the dinosaur tracks were a cool surprise 👍🏻

They’re coming to my state in a few days. I hope the tickets are not sold out!
Sound is bad..
Do you have a video of when he pulled my daughter up on stage? I can see that he’s calling for security to bring her up at the very end of this video!
