Is this a good place for singles?
I can’t really speak to that as this was my first Carnival cruise and I was doing more family-oriented activities. What I can say is that Carnival has a party atmosphere… I also recall seeing mixers on the activity list that were catered to different groups… but each cruise will have different experiences, so probably best to check out other videos to see if Carnival would be the right cruise line for you.
If you really want to see something, check out the Halloween train ride. It is much more elaborate and imaginative that this one. This Christmas display is nice but not especially grand.

Jeff Rivera thx! You'll be sorry! Hahaha 😊 1. Anchorage airport to Whittier cruise terminal: Did you fly into Anchorage on cruise day? Or a few days earlier? How did you get all of you to Whittier?
Anne Lam lol. No worries! 1. We flew into Anchorage on cruise day. The ship was scheduled to depart in the evening so we were able to fly out the same day. 2. As for getting to Whittier, we were able to book a transfer to the port directly through Princess. We booked everything through Princess. Not only did it make it easy, but they help make sure you get to the port on time so you don’t miss the ship.
Jeff Rivera everything through Princess, meaning airfare too? 2: Have you cruised Princess before? We've not cruised Princess yet. So wondering how it compares to other cruises. (we've been on Royal, Disney, NCL, and Celebrity). (thx for your answers! Only answer when you have time, ok? 😊)
Anne Lam yes, airfare was booked with them as well. They give a broad selection of flights, which made me feel that the cost of the plane ticket was fair. I’ve only done one other one with Princess to Mexico, so I didn’t need to fly. I’ve done one Disney to Mexico as well. IMO, Princess is a way better value. Everything was top notch and I would book again with them in a heartbeat.
