UK did play well in that 1st Quarter. Let their lead slip in the 2nd and kept it close in the 3rd. And then the exciting 4th quarter. Sadly i never got to watch this game live to fully experience the shock and awe.
Sometimes, when you upload a disc game to TH-cam, it ends up pixelating it slightly. Plus some of these actual disc that I get are not the best quality and all depends on how they were recorded on VHS
I had to check if it was Mike and it was, man that Florida team was loaded! Lomas Brown, Lilly, Mularkey, Marshal, and Hampton, Jones, Neal Anderson, John L Williams, I think I read Shanahan was the running game coordinator? And that backfield was loaded with talent
Yo, I didn't even realize that was Eric Collins, the announcer for the Hornets, on the call in that game. That's awesome! Game winner's at 3:14:42, BTW
Couple of things here. First, I was at this game and it was as cold, wet, raw and as miserable as described. And then there was the wind. Second, folks did not realize the relationship between coach Bustle and Vick. Third, did you notice the shoulder pads the players were wearing? Fourth, in addition to the win the previous year, this would be a part of the run that would see the Hokies win every game through 2023, except for 2. And finally, for Beamer, it was not about the money, it was about the Hokies!
Great to see this game on TH-cam. Thanks for the upload! Awesome to see Roger Craig and Mike Rozier on several of these runs. Combined and not including the bowl game they rushed for 2,035 yards in 1981. In the Orange Bowl against Clemson both were a little under 100 yards each. So figuring that in, each rushed for well over a 1000 that season. Phil Bates and Doug Wilkening were also excellent Fullbacks.
Can you find this game with the national anthem being played? It was very special because the army players saluting the flag, very moving because this was 3 months after the 9/11 attacks.
some lean years for SWITZER as he became embroiled in stock trading irregularities and stopped recruiting.
Winning back to back to back there years must have been fun to watch live.

Do you have any Tulane games ???
I do have some but they're mostly after the 2015 season. I will work on trying to get some of these up as the football season gets close.
I added a few from 2019
4:03 love those old-school passing stats; they're throwing for 6000 yards and 80 tds now!🤣
I remember I was still yelling about the stupid penalty and going from angry to excited screaming in a blink of and eye
lol the video quality makes this look like the late 70s, i don't remember it looking like this

Steve kragthorpe was a terrible coach lol
Do you have the 1983 Gators vs Miami game? I've.been. looking for this game fo 10 years
I do not but I will try to track it down
3:14:44 10 year old me lost my mind
❤go cards!
Don Key! Donkey!
???
@@johnmanning4097 There is a player named “Don Key” in this game.
I know who he is and he was not in this game. He was injured, but why did you say he was a donkey?
@@johnmanning4097 Don Key is almost Donkey. Merely being silly.
Got cha lol
Nick Setta FTW!
the james jones catch game
These refs were bad on BOTH sides. Some of the calls by coach Shanny were head scratchers.. Despite that, it was a hard hitting game.

I was at that game. I remember I couldn't believe VT let Womack run up the middle for a long gain on that 3rd and 10 in first possession of the game.
Title is wrong as this game was at Virginia.
Nice set of uploads. FYI, title is wrong as this game was at Wake Forest
Rivalry 😂
Awesome upload, thank you 🇺🇸
"Where's the Tuba player?"
Gee! Domyoum think the UConn coach got enough camera time?
Thank you thank you for posting this. My first Sooners game in Person...Being looking for this forever.
Fight On, Trojans!! ✌️✌️🏈🏈✌️✌️ One of the few bright spots in a mostly dismal season.

Hi Scott novak
That attempted trip by Virginia staff at 3:11:40
USC's first win at the Rose Bowl in 10 years
Do you have the 2006 UGA at UK game? Not even sure that game had a live broadcast.
I was at this game and it was nowhere near as close as the score might indicate. Hokies dominated the hapless "Hoos" from the onset.
who you?
The fumble on the first play looked like the ball carrier was already on the ground when the ball came loose. Bad call by the refs.
Thanks man, haven't seen this one in a long time!
Great to see this.
Why can I never tire of watching the last quarter?
A young Billy Hite sighting ! ❤️

West Virginia tradition of losing to backup QBs.
Oh and every O-Line and D-Line man for Carolina got white gloves to go with our white jerseys so refs couldn’t see holds 😂
Complete blind side block on Carolina’s First TD.. they’ve always been cheating that shit was blatant as hell
Is it possible to find the 2002 sc/ucla game ?
Did you have the intro to it as well
Oklahoma is the home team, not Nebraska
typo, thx i'll fix that
Thank you for this,
I was there. This was a great day. Thanks for posting!
I was at this game...thanks for adding it!! Bummer the Bruins couldn't win this one.

Go right ahead. No issue
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO WATCH THIS GAME
Thank you very much for this game. I was looking for this game for a decade.
