A look at RAC Cable Beach Holiday Park (new edit)
We visited Broome (Western Australia), in June 2024. Broome is around 2200 kilometres from Perth. We took the poodles and stayed in the RAC Cable Beach Holiday Park. This video gives you insight into it and nearby beaches. The caravan park is located at Cable Beach and is around 4 km from Broome town.

Eurovelo 19: Part 11, The End of the cycling trip.

This is part 11 in the Eurovelo 19 cycling tour starting in Amsterdam. In this episode we rode from Woudrichem to Dordrecht, staying in Airbnb accommodation. The video indicates the sort of bike paths we were cycling. This is the last stage of the Eurovelo 19 trip for us as we train to Bruge after staying in Dordrecht.

Eurovelo 19: Part 9, Ravenstein to Den Bosch

We rode from Ravenstein to Den Bosch in the Netherlands but stayed in accommodation in villages nearby that were fabulous. We booked on Airbnb and enjoyed the experience of staying outside the cities. Den Bosch is worth visiting. The lovely accommodation in Bokhoven, Groensteeg 1, can be contacted at mfwbosch@home.nl.

It was the end of August and the heat had turned to rain. Over a few days we cycled from Liege to Maastricht, then to Stevensweert and then Venlo. We stayed in Airbnb accommodation and a hotel. Cycling in the rain changed the mood of the ride but we pushed on through.
Cycling and Snorkeling at Rottnest

Rottnest is a little island off Perth, Western Australia. It takes 30 minutes by boat, and has no private cars on the island, making it a great cycling destination. It is only about a 28km cycle around the island. We love snorkeling on Rottnest Island so we have included some footage and photos to show how clear it is.

Eurovelo 19 Part 4: Verdun to Stenay

It was a very hot day and we rode 61km from Verdun to Stenay. We show the path and road quality of the trip plus some of the towns. There weren't many places to stop and eat or drink but we did find one interesting cafe called L'eclat de rire with a war museum inside.

Eurovelo 19: Part 1, The beginning

This is the first stage of our Eurovelo 19 cycle tour. We planned and booked the entire trip in advance. We didn't want to camp so we booked all the accommodation with cycling in mind. We took one bike over and bought one e-bike from Decathlon. This meant we needed some extra time in Amsterdam to organise ourselves. We will be showing the rest of the tour in stages.

What a nice watch - giving ideas of where to explore. Thinking of taking dad over to ride some of EV19 (Get him an electric). Did have a couple of questions. - How was the spacing of charging stations along EV19? - I see you went (Mostly) with apartments/B&B. Wondering if can do this with a mix of campsites/cabins and houses (Like I see with EV15) or not. Anyway, loved the videos, and the accompanying music.
@james48ballistix We found the EV19 a little hilly on roads at the beginning in the French part but as we headed to Rotterdam, particularly in the Netherlands, the paths were mostly flat and bicycle paths. We only stay in accommodation and found it easy booking places in advance. Airbnb and booking.com were most useful. There are alot of camping sites along the river if you Ike camping. Also we cannot rate Komoot highly enough now that we have used it. It is easy to use and a better navigation tool when cycling.

Absolutely nothing! I liked the music and didn't have much free music to choose from.

I muted the sound. Why not talk and describe the trip?
It was the first time we made these videos and we will have a different format for our next cycling trip with narration and more information. We were using a very old gopro that broke down so we weren't planning on videoing too much and were surprised at how much footage we actually had at the end of the trip.

I don't get it, no fenders... These things weigh nothing and you really can't ride without them here in the Netherlands or for that matter in Europe....Get your gear in order before you start a trip, good( new) tires, fenders, quality rims, chain ect. Fenders/chain guard save wear on your chain and therefore on your derailleur...
Thanks for your feedback. Bicycles are so expensive in Europe and often the main form of transport. We had no issues with the bicycle and will be upgrading this one for another on our next trip so we may have a free bike to give away when we get back to Amsterdam.

Did you have to buy a special ticket to be able to bring the bikes on the train? Was it easy to take the train with the bikes? Wish you a wonderful trip!
Thank you. We had extra tickets for the bikes in both the Netherlands and Belgium. It was in August, so we also had to go into the Amsterdam train station to pay to reserve a place on the first train out of Amsterdam. We had mixed results with the trains. Some stations had working elevators at platforms, but frequently, they were out of order, so we had to carry the bikes up and down the stairs.
And sometimes we didn't have much time to find the bike carriage.

We can't remember the room number but we were on the 3rd floor of the Premier Deluxe room on the western side.

Hi, I was wondering where in the island is this? and how far did you have to swim out?
We went out opposite Mangrove Stop Cafe just west of Agung Beach Club if you look at Google maps. We went about 250m out to the drop off. We went at high tide. At low tide you could could probably walk out but I don't know what you would see and you would be wrecking the coral that is there.

We were in the Santrian Club room. We had access to the extra pools that were tiered.
