    Hi mate, great video, I wish you the best on your FS journey! With the Trucker’s hitch, instead of forming an initial loop to pull the bight through try this: form a bight then twist it at least three times at 90 degrees to the standing line. This should give you the same bight but with a ‘spring’ of line around the bottom. Then continue as before, laying it over and pulling the next bight through. This arrangement will really just fall apart when you are undoing it. The problem with doing an initial loop is that it will tighten considerably around the base of the bight making a pinch point which is hard to undo and causes unnecessary friction on your line (especially if it rains and your lines swell up).
