I would like to give some feedback. Good quality genuine olive oil is not cheap, and it can go rancid once opened and not in a cool place. I also find it unpleasant on the skin. My IP has a sous vide setting which is likely to be MUCH more accurate than the slow cook setting, if you have it on your IP. I would recommend an organic, 100% coconut based MCT oil, which goes into the skin almost immediately. If you want to make it go deeply into the skin, prepare a liniment [alcohol/Ever Clear with the same herb and/or same herb and other herbs, depending on what the application is] and when you go to use the oil, use 2 droppers of the infused oil and two droppers of the herbal tincture/liniment and you will have the most effective topical herbal prep you could want. Seriously, it works.

I don’t know how the factory availability in Wisconsin is but in Texas at least at this local sporting goods store I couldn’t find 6 mm Creedmoor, but I could find a fair amount of 243 and there was even 6.5 Grendel and 224 Valkyrie. Wild personally chatting with a pretty famous and older TH-cam gun channel person he said that the six Creedmoor is still being edged out by the 243 Winchester and when I look at store shelves, they just don’t have many offerings. I feel the same way as one of the other persons made a comment said that they don’t want to buy a rifle that there are not factory offerings for. Many interesting and neat ideas out there, but I don’t wanna have a rifle that’s lonely without factory ammo to feed it. I also noticed that tikka has a 1: 8 twist for their 243. Like you said some of these older cartridges are getting a makeover

Did you choose a barrel with a lock nut system like a prefit with the savage nut? It always looks so easy on TH-cam...

Take some advice I got a long time ago. Faster does not mean more accurate or better. If you consistently get great groups at 2500 then stay with that. You probably need to switch projectiles to get more speed and as much or more accuracy. Good job and good luck.

6.5mm allows for bullets from 90ish grains up to 160 grains. The Swedes have been using the 6.5x55 since the 1890's to hunt everything, which happens to include brown bears and moose. IIRC the 6.5 Creedmoor is ballistically similar to the 6.5x55. In the US the most commonly hunted game is deer sized and for that size game 140 grain bullets are fine. When we compare cartridges to see what is better we are often picking at nits. Is the 243 better than the 6.5CM? In some aspects it certainly is. In my never to be humble opinion its a toss up. Pick what rifle you like and shoot it more than you think you need too. Learn that rifle and that cartridge. Shoot from field positions and not just from a bench. There is no magical cartridge, rifle, or scope that can replace your proficiency.

New hear, a few things to help you out as a mom. Well the baggy skin on your arms or neck when you get older can be taken care of with reparation H it’s good for that. The stretch marks you talk😮 Make sure to use a casserole oil or fish oil with your comfy in the oil for stretch marks

Enjoyed your informative video. I've been following the development of the 7PRC for a few years. Unlike you, I primarily ring steel at 400 to 600 yards. Personally the new Bergara Wilderness Sierra (22" barrel + brake) looks appealing, but was concerned about not having a 24" barrel. Based on your video, I'm leaning toward laying down the $1,000 for the rifle.

Can I give you just a small bit of advice? Turn your rifle around in your case with the scope close to the handle. Reason being when you stand your case up, your rifle won't be resting on your scope inside the case.

I've generally liked the CVLIFE scopes I have but they have very little use so far. I'd say they are great general first scopes and probably all most people really need.

Bought a Ruger American 16” barrel. Horrible accuracy, tried 3 different scopes, tried various ammo: ftx250 black & custom, federal, 245 hornady SP, Barnes tsx 250, 5 different handloads. Tried 3 different muzzle brakes. My AR is lightyears ahead of the Ruger. Looking at a mossberg to test out next….. .450BM

Got my sps in 6.5. This year (2024). Mine got the x pro trigger. thought it was weird but I don’t mind I was able to adjust it externally to much lower weight, feels great

Thanks for the insight. My Go Wild 6.5 creedmor locked up on the very first shot and I had to muscle the bolt open again. Oiled the bolt and it seemed to move smoother but locked again on about the 5th shot the next week. I just now took off the bolt sleeve / shroud and wiped it down with oil - seems to be moving nicely but I'll find out this weekend at the range

About 69 years for the.243

I currently am in the market for a .338 win-mag. Based on my minimal research my only contention against the original version M77, is the hit or miss barrel quality since they were sourcing barrels from multiple providers. So there seems to be a risk to getting a lemon in that regard.

Are you using 308 or 6.5 mags for the 243? looking at upgrading

Im building a 7mm prc right now 20" barrel measured front front of the action. 1-8 #2 wilson in a mdt hunt 26 chassis gonna prob run 180 eldmatch first then 175 eldx or 175 berger elite hunters rifle will mainly be used as my back up mountain rifle for mountain goats and elk. My main rifle is a christensen arms fft 300 prc 22" barrel shooting berger 215 hybrids it hammers everything.

First off the fps you're using is really high compared to what I get and the numerous other videos I've seen. Bullets don't open on energy they function on fps. You should let the fps dictate your max range along with your skills.

Maybe a little 3x fold over scope in case. That's a good idea bonuses a red dot.

Nice rifle, I'm just not a fan of using such a short barrel. Especially, for a cartridge like the 7 PRC. Not a suppressor fan at all. I do totally agree with you about guys shooting at game at extreme range. 300 is much more ethical. BTW, I'm a 7mm-08 and 7mm Rem Mag fan.

Question - how does the velocity of a 20 inch 7PRC compare to a 22 inch 7mm-08? I get the short barrel / suppressed. Will be enjoyable to watch your range report.

Both are good for up to deer sized game but no larger.
