I am never the "weak link" in my team. Today I was and got humbled on defense. Now I am here.LoL...But i love it cause it only drives me to get stronger(better) at the game as a competitive player!

His laziness on D sets the tone for his teammates whi are supposed to be following and looking up to him. His lack of defense negates a large portion of his scoring. Defense eins championships, scoring gets clicks, views, and admiration when doing ehats necessary to win games should be what's celebrated. Dame is a selfish player, only pushes himself when the ball is in his hands. He'll let his teammates to the work on that end. Lol

I’m an efficiency guy…and while I love the crossover hesi spin into a step back, the catch and shoot pump fake the defender up in the air and drive to draw help seems more efficient to me. Even today USA vs Serbia…we only won that game because we have individual athletic freaks of nature who are mismatch nightmares and who decided to play sounds defense in the 4th Q…but that Serbian team’s execution was a clinic. The way they picked apart the US was a masterclass

Yessir love these videos that still value defense the same as offense, as a defensive minded and oriented player this helped a lot when I was starting out basketball I naturally loved and enjoyed playing defense because it was the only thing I can do, but despite having 100% grit & effort on d on every play I knew I had to watch some of these videos and learn tricks and these really helps for the new generation who don’t got defense like that.

One thing that i've consistently noticed as well when closing out is that the best defenders will consistently aim to straddle the non pivot foot of the shooter they're closing out on so that he can only go towards the baseline because otherwise , if he tries to rip through you to access the middle , he will get meet with resistance due to the body positionning and those clips that you showed highlighted it perfectly !
