Bruce, You should make a video getting into franchise fees. There are so many franchises that charge a whole page of fees every month to their franchises. It hard to make a profit when upwards of 20% is going straight to royalty payments.
This is a great idea
Such a Nice intro bro i love basket
Were with it

Keeping your competitors close.. Never made more sense than it does now.
I know, right
That's why FD needs to charge in intervals on long-term stays
I was thinking the same thing
Good job Bruce

AWEsome 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks!!
For a fact, black hotel maids will steal from a black hotel guest. They will steal men and female clothes and anything of any value.
I hope not
Fantastic my friend but may we chat about most of these hoteliers not changing with the times, paying well and not omitting the old template's that are outdated? The most important people are the crew members and employees. Thanks
I agree, for sure!
Great Episode!
Thanks David
I have worked every front desk shift and I must say that Night Audit is my favorite. It is actually the ONLY shift I will work at a hotel. It definitely depends on the area. Every Hotel I have worked for has allowed the Night Auditor to lock the doors after 11pm so thats a plus. I have had to call police quite a few times but I have been working NA shift for almost years now. Than for posting this. And hats off to the rest of my fellow Night Auditors!
Thank you so much for hanging in their working this shift. You are the chosen one!
Good stuff!
Thanks David

...gotta love hotels and their predatory ways to price fix. 😅
Not as bad as gas stations yet.
Watch the money
Very informative video
You got that right
The bigger thing you need to worry about with new management is personality conflicts! If you are seen as a threat to anyone in the new management team they will get rid of you and it doesn’t matter what you bring to the table.
Yes they do especially when you point out their faults

These are great nitty gritty "operational" best practices to know at the ground level which comes with time / experience. I really appreciate this type of content because it helps speed up the learning curve in this department. It would be a great if you did a series on all the different departments and the operational best practices that you have found. Thanks for wonderful content Jordan!
I just started a new hospitality podcast called Hospitality Careers
Brilliant !!!!!!
Thank you
I worked night audit 13-14 years. As you mention, you do see the good, bad and the strange! I can tell you too many freaky stories about the adventures of dealing with people working 11pm to 7am. Doing the daily audits can get a little monotonous but you do deal with many weird people. The worst were the hookers, drunk drivers, etc. and similar people from time to time. Do I miss it? NAH! That was a part of my life I'll never for get. I had 300+ rooms at my last hotel.
That is a pretty big hotel.
Please don't axe people,it's dangerous you could hurt someone
Lol

This is actually super helpful even though it’s so obvious when you explain it I am now gonna start waiting to blow dry my hair until after the bathroom has dried.
Glad it was helpful!
I think culture has downplayed corporate so people don’t understand the benefits of learning in a professional business environment. However, if you understand systems and can add value to that system you are more equipped to lead as an entrepreneur.
I agree
So much wisdom!
Thank you

This video really shines a light on how AI can revolutionize digital marketing. I recently discovered Myko Assistant, which offers deep internet searches and organized results through email requests. It’s proven to be more efficient than some other tools I've tried. Looking forward to leveraging these insights in my own work.
At first I thought you said: "what do you recommend for hotels that are French" 😂
Lol
No. He says LP (a). It's a genetic marker.
Correct
LP LDL, its cholesterol
This was the first time I heard of LPs
