This event was at Deer park Cumberland park. We normally hold events in the Cincinnati area. Our Practices are at the below locations. Sunday Bechtold Park 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Tuesday Eden Park 6:00 pm to dark

If this were a fight using historically weighted weapons and where both head and hands were valid targets that'd be true. It's not though, and the ruleset makes the dynamics different enough that It makes more sense to hold shields closer.
