Bro, you're going to love this boat. She's a tank. I have a 2023' I wanted a 12ft, fin drive, and I love my storage. I run a PP-768-J2 Bixpy, with the gravity rudder. I had thus setup, on my Shearwater 125, but all they give you is awesome. For your geartrack caps, just take a small flathead, and gently tap the ends of the cap.i was also stumped on that. They 23' and up, they changed the fin insert, to stainless steel now. I would add white weather striping on each storage hatch. I don't get a drop of water in my hull. I have all my accessories, electronics, and this is my 1st year tournament fishing. I also purchased a harbor freight trailer, which is plug and play for my hitch. All loaded, she's a little hefty. I can walk all over mine at 5ft 7 156 lbs. And lastly the Hobie 180 drive does fit, with two additional washers, I believe, there's a you-tube video on that. I'm going to add in the future a bow mount XI3. There's a ton of mounts for basically every kayak now. Stay safe bro ! 😎 🎣 🙏

Enjoyed your video, you gave me a couple of ideas that I’m gonna try on my AP 120. Also, not sure if I’m seeing this correctly but should the marker bow lights be the other way around? The red on the starboard side and the green on the port side.

I have an Lowrance Elite7 with the long Transducer under the Kayak. Where the Kayak Cavity is. Had to use my imagination for it to mount up. I tried the transducer over the side, but would never work okay for me. Hope it works great for you.

They really changed the Rudder handle and bottom T shape than mine. nice install.

I have the first gen Hoodoo 120 Impulse. With the 2 pods. I installed a SAI Rudder and better rudder cable. I'll be testing it out this weekend. Only problem i had was the Fin Drive cable was rubbing on the drive and the fin drive would not stay seated. Kept popping out. After Hoodoo gave me an updated Fin drive and better clips for the drive. Works great. For the money its a great entry level Kayak. Mine is Orange with no markings of Hoodoo or Impulse on the back. Great Review

yes, in 2024 they thickened the plastic on the kayak changed the storage up a little bit and changed the hull design to offer more stability than the 2023

Yeah, I was just as excited about my impulse 120 as you were when I received it. The initial quality blew me away. As you mentioned, the plastic is thick! I plan on doing more videos and reviews about it as well. We need to tell the masses!!! Lol, I think it's the best value on the market, hands down. And ive been in basically all the big companies pedal yaks. The impulse 120 is probably the best deck layot ive been in. I love how open and clean the deck is, it rigs up nicely. I also love that hoodoo has revised and made changes to their kayaks in order to make them better! They have really stepped up their game! I plan on getting an Impulse 135 to add to the fleet, just so I can have experience and recommend that kayak as well, and by design, it should be a little quicker for covering big water. Currently trying to work on my buddies to pick up some Hoodoos so they can fish with me😁

My friend and I hunted at Two guys and a hog yesterday. Both of us got two hogs. Had a great time. Service was great , he took extra care to ensure both of had a good time. We are both going back this fall.
