Anything that benefits you that you're doing for any kind of improvement don't ever look to anybody else. That negates why you are doing that in the first place. Even if you look to others for validation it still isn't good. You can use that validation to help you on your way but still you shouldn't be doing things for other people good or bad you should be doing things for you. The same point you should still be able to listen to constructive criticism without taking it seriously or needing to have it affect you IF it is coming from somebody that actually loves you. Of course a guy wouldn't have a motive like that. It's because girls are weaker, and some of us want to feel strong enough to beat up a man if necessary. It probably comes from being mistreated by her dad or another man. I've definitely felt that as a motive to get strong because all the men in my life are pretty aggressive and violent. I realize not all men are like that, but I understand the feeling.

Just go regular shoulder press, you’ll make way better front delt gains. This is just putting unnecessary stress on your joints and not helping you overload the front delts.

Another tip- you'd have to leave your mom's basement in order to actually maybe have to worry about someone doing that.

You should be able to push your knees forwards much more and sink that squat much farther. Your ankles are pretty much unbent at the bottom of your squat right now because of the sloped platform your own. Those things are great for improving depth and targeting the quads, especially when ankle mobility is a limiting factor. Bottom line, you’re missing out on a lot of good work by skipping the bottom portion.

Why is that better than standing lat raises exactly
Because the angle is about 45° different and you can't use your legs to bounce the weight up. Also discourages shrugging to use your traps, so you're isolating the muscle more. Do the two exercises back to back, and you will also be able to feel the difference.
@@glitter._.goblin changing the angle that the arm is hanging from doesn’t do anything for hypertrophy since it doesn’t change the stretch of the delts. Doing them this way also makes it harder to use high intensity techniques. On the last few reps of a set, cheating a little bit can actually produce a better hypertrophic stimulus than without cheating. But if you still don’t want to cheat, just work on your form. Lateral raises are a very straightforward exercise, so working towards good form is not hard
