She's a fucken disgrace
We are one people, to divide us is wrong. If she is aboriginal i am a red head Torres Straight Islander :)
Very cunning individual is Jim... Public Servant does not ring true with him as he does not know what it is - Australians serve him is a more apt description and that's how he likes it..
i want to live in that world. i go to work every day and feel like i am on egg shells they can always replace me i am expendable

As the previous CEO of Weave I know that there are lots of dedicated youth workers out there who do a great job. It's really important that those workers get the right support to help young people, get supervision and have opportunities to share ways of working. Thanks for all you have done Kobie.
Appreciate you both for sharing brothers! 100% agree with having a weave everywhere too!! So when the team are ready, you can set up down here in VIC - Wadawurrung/Wathaurong country!! :D
✨See/Be the Light in the Dark✨ This is such a powerful yarn. Addiction. Incarceration. Rehabilitation. Education. Language. Culture. Resilience. Survivor’s guilt is very real, but there is no point in dimming one’s light to accomodate another’s darkness. If anything, it should be motivation to shine brighter. Thank you for your vulnerability and powerful presence. Soft front, hard back. ❤️🖤💛

Hey Dylan, I reached out when I had concerns about Peter O'Brien solicitors taking advantage in relation to my matters concerning myself. At the time, you likely hadn't yet had time to realise the perspective expressed here. Our stories, as much as they look different on the surface in many ways, at the same time they are not that different. I was wondering how you were going with your healing and if you feel you've found your way after all you've been through including the court processes and activisim stuff which is actually really confusing frankly from the sound of it. I don't want to patronise you by saying that's not a fair nor just or anything good path to say the least. It's confusing. I'm not offering help. I wouldn't have anything to offer. I'm interested though where you're at and if you've found your feet in an empowering way for you? I guess what I was thinking is that given that we look different and yet have common part of our history and experience, I was wondering if we might be able to work out ways together and with others who have been through similar experiences that offer a genuine perspective on ways that maybe able to inform change. I'm not talking charity or anything like that. I mean the system is broken and kids still going through this bullshit. I mean I wonder if we could form something that could inform and action systemic change within the law courts and the rest of it so the systems that create discrimination and persecution is weeded out. Yeah I get this is idealistic. I'm 41. It doesn't end. I want it to. Not on an individual basis but on a systematic basis so people in our communities aren't treated that way. If this isnt something that appeals or you've had enough, then please don't worry about this. I don't want to cause you stress whatsoever. However if part of you, I don't know, I'm not comfortable with systemic abuse is an acceptable part of society that people walk past and ignore cause it doesn't affect them personally. Let me know your thoughts. I'm on socials and linked if you want to reach out and chat sometime.
Loved this interview! Love Barkaa. As an educator I totally agree, listen to the kids your teaching, Everyone has a different learning style and no kid is a bad kid. If you are a teacher, or mentor your job is to open doors for the kids under your care ❤
I wanna cry every time I see or hear his name. Just wanna hug this boy so tight, my heart hurts for him. Deserved so much more. I hope you find peace !
One of the best interviews I've ever seen, so much insight and had me in absolute tears at times. What incredible artist, so much strength, passion and beauty.
Bravo! - what a deadly exchange. I'm a front line DCJ worker and met Brendan's successor today, Claire Beattie, and I hope she will carry the baton forward.
