Unfortunately, my 2 friends & his brother all from high school found & married low value women. Jarred the brother is divorced now and has hardly anything. Jared's brother Kirt is still married and miserable. He is told by his wife what & how to do every day. Andy is mutch the same, just a yes man to stay married. We all aren't friends anymore because they were weak men & found controlling wife's. Very unfortunate. Kirts wife told me to get out of her house when I was telling everyone about how me & my wife solve problems and dont hardly argue. The houe i helped build for kirt. His brother helped also. Their father Butch died several years after he also helped him build it & gave him the land. Lives destroyed by rotten women. After the house was sold at a loss, I was flabbergasted. Just to move to another one that was similar in size & old. Kirts house was brand new. Never pictured my friends & friendships to turn out like it did. Very sad. Watch your back men!

You missed one: she's a "taker", uses men to get anything she can out of him, time, attention, sex, gifts ( with his money, of course), a free place to live in, even at the expense of a man's existing relationship. For a "taker", that's like icing on the cake. She"loves" him until he's got nothing left to give. Then she leaves and moves on to the next guy, repeat, repeat, etc. She doesn't care who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants. Voice of experience, I lost my fiance to a "taker" years ago. Yes, men can be just as bad. Been through that, too.

Wow... this is scary. Because each and every single word mimicked my life. My abusers were my parents, school, and even some in my faith. Therapy is helping. But, like today I'm back in time, a little bit.... and realizing mistakes i made upon my family. Not abusive. But disconnected. It hurts me like a demon this is how I made them feel. I also was in the fight, flight and freeze. Many triggers, daily, and I would go through all those steps. I ran away so often.... looking for relief only to realize I was abusing myself or connected with those who gave the abuse.

I have to remember this. Just went the honeymoon phase to reconnect with spouse then the immense guilt painful memories kicked me. I was thinking I was crazy because it goes in cycles. Looking into ways to cut correct close the door to rebuild my mind . My goal is to rebuild my personality for next new chapter years.
