I'm a miniature painter, 3D printer enthusiast, and geek for most things tabletop and board game-related. I've been painting tabletop miniatures in my spare time for several years. My current painting goal is to have great-looking "tabletop" quality miniatures. My current focus is on painting Warhammer 40K, specifically a new Sister of Battle army.
MISTY BUILD & PAINT - 3D PRINT STATUE
I build and paint a one sixth (1/6) scale model of Misty from Pokemon. The stl file was purchased from Esmonster and printed on my Elegoo Saturn 4 printer.

Got your video in my recommended and enjoyed it! earned a sub, gz on 100. Also, potentially helpful advice as well so you don't have to spend so much time sanding because sprue cutting damaged the model during support removal. Use a plastic container you don't care about, heat up some water, and pour it in/dunk the print into it for 10-15 seconds. You can pull the supports off the model and cause 0 damage with minimal sanding requirements with just your gloved hands. The water is easily recyclable by simply setting the container in sunlight, or if you feel weird about it I myself put it into water bottles & take it to a recycling center :) I've been doing this for over a year even with models that have drain holes with 0 issues and it saves me SO MUCH time in my workflow.
Tamiya and Hasegawa masking tape with just a touch of Vallejo masking fluid in the tricky spots was the magic formula for me
Great work ! Is it possible to get a 1/10th scale statue commissioned ?
Thank you! I can be reached via email (listed in the description) for any commission requests :)
About to go watch your first video but love the content and you do a great job with narration and editing!
Great work bro! Keep it up! Im also new on my channel and my goal is just to upload more quality content. Hopefully to get more following on this as I strongly believe that each piece completed is a work of art. The world should be see and be inspired with it.
23:19 Talking about lighting, perhaps a type of light defuser. You’ll get your light without the ‘hot spot’ directly over your model. Sometimes even simply changing the angle of the light. 👍🏼
Thanks for the suggestion! I have one large diffused light directly above, so perhaps playing with the angle of it a bit might help.
@ can't wait to see the next project and see how your lighting works. 🤘🏻
Love they way you do your videos dont change it try vellejo mask works great for me
Thank you for the suggestion - I'll give that a try!
It’s looking really good. I’ve had great results with humbrol maskol. Keep up the great work
Thank you for the tip!
Very detailed video as always. Blending color is such a pain to do.
Great first video. Very well done and honest. Showing that not everything works first try but you just have to keep going.
Thank you! Every project ( of mine at least!) has its mistakes and I don't mind showing how I fix them :)
You are the goat ! Looking forward for the next video
Good luck with your youtube channel, I'm looking forward for the next video
I stumbled on this video while I was searching how to paint Jinx, as she is quite pale and I have high expectations from myself who is not a art person at all. Thanks for the video, the explanation did clear a lot for me❤
Awesome! Good luck with your Jinx!
Nice first vid! I enjoyed it very much.
