Just the simple act of making these portraits for everyone is so touching, and seeing them all fade away until he meets them again is absolutely touching. Amazing, incredible, outstanding work!!

I feel like Ignatz gets overlooked a lot as a character in FE3H, even by me admittedly, but like after watching this I was suddenly hit with a revelation that literally helps me feel a lot better about myself and my career choice as an artist - *Artists help keep stories alive.* And sometimes they don't get a lot of attention, especially while they're still alive and their works are nothing really special at first, but eventually people are going to look back at your work and wonder what kind of a person you must have been, or what emotions you must have had when making your works - even if they're silly or not at all serious, lol. Bottom line though, Ignatz has to be one of the more relatable characters in FE3H and I do have to appreciate him for that. And all artists out there - keep doing what you like doing. Keep telling their stories! (Great animatic btw!)

SO i admittedly, i was not the biggest fan of ignatz. i thought he was good and all and i really like christian la monte and ignatz was a beast at crit-ing during my golden deer playthrough, but not much about him really hit home to me. this animatic. captures everything i know i now find fascinating and frankly, adore in ignatz. and perhaps youve made me like a character i initially disregarded as "alright". the way he paints for his friends here to capture the memories of his friends, tries to do his best to depict everything and as much as he can, and when he returns one more time, he sees the fruits of his labor and holy shit i adore this ALSO MY SOFT SPOT FOR REICARNATION AUs DURING FE3H, THIS IS TRULY A MASTERPIECE AND I HAVENT EVEN TALKED ABOUT THE ROTATING SHOTS I LOVE THIS YOURE GREAT THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS

If you ever want to do more of these, you should totally do "(Not) Getting Married Today" from the musical Company starring Bernadetta (with Dorothea and Ferdinand as the other parts.)

This is one of the reasons why I left Ignatz alive in my "canon" all routes mixed into one story(fanfic really). He was the one painting the the paintings we see during the games, also he stands out probably the most throughout GD/VW compared to the other not retainer characters if Hilda and Lorenz.
