We have over 30 years experience of supporting childminders and offering Ofsted recognised training, resources and membership. We are the only national organisation that creates all our own online training and resources that are specifically designed for the unique role of registered childminding.
As a charity and not for profit organisation we have small team of qualified, experienced and dedicated staff who are passionate about the benefits of childminding. We work closely with our management committee of trustees who are all working childminders who give up their time to help Childminding UK provide what working childminders need.

Childminding UK achieve the Princess Royal Training Award

In 2022, Childminding UK became the only early years organisation to achieve the standard needed for the Princess Royal Training Award. On December 6th, we were invited to the Royal Banqueting House, London to be presented with the Award by Princess Anne. This is a video of our day.

Yes you can as long as you follow the requirements to become an assistant and that you are able to work around your other role.
Can I register before starting

How many children are you allowed to have at once. Say for example I employed two members of staff I could have 12 children right? But how many can I have in the house at once? Does it depend on how big your house is?
