Welcome to the Grove! My name is Kayanna, and I am a twin mom.
This channel's focus is to help you be at peace with simple, minimalist living. Here, you'll find fans of slow routines, a place to share your love for recipes from scratch, a love of baking, seeing projects to feel at peace with yourself.
Sustainability is very important to me. I strive to upcycle whenever I can. My goals is to have a lovely, tranquil farm. Stayed tuned for videos covering homesteading techniques.
When I became a mother, I cut my hours and started focusing on what mattered: my family. Having come from an educated background, I didn't learn much about homemaking and the skills needed to manage my new responsibilities. That's why I started this TH-cam channel.
I strive to make content to help new homemakers like you learn the skills necessary to organize, manage, and take care of a home.
Thank you so much for being here with me on this journey. From my heart to yours, I bow to you. Namaste.

Welcome to my Channel. Who am I actually?
Hello. Your video came across my feed. I noticed that you sew in stocking feet. (I do also as I like to "feel" the pedal under my foot). Another thing I do is actually turn the pedal around as it gives me better control because I use the "ball" of my foot for pressure. I have been sewing for many years as I come from a sewing family. The machines of today have many plastic pieces inside. Any machine can work well as long it is maintained.
Ooh! I have never tried turning the foot around! I am going to do that. I bet it'll give me more pressure control! Thank you so much! ❤️ What machine are you using? My Singer Start works great. As you said, it's all about maintenance.
@@KayannaBanana1 I have many machines. - Janome - 23 stitch (preferred), - White Rotary - treadle, - Singer - Memory Craft, - Kemore - 4 stitch (Model 385), - Singer - 18 stitch (Model 6235). - Kenmore Serger Since most of the machines that I have are older the parts are more metal and can sew through fabrics better than the current machines. 😊
@@rd5rjs I had a Huskystar from the 70s that I donated. It was really hard to find parts for and it used a specialized bobbin that most places had to special order. I definitely had fewer problems with it overall, though. For my next machine, I think I will look for an older one. From what you're saying, it sounds like the better quality of older machines makes them more convenient for projects, and it's nicer to the Earth to use what's already been manufactured.
Hi kayanna, thank you!. Make more foot pedal vids. Have a great day.
I am glad you found it helpful!
@KayannaBanana1 great.. hope see more about it! Take care.
Hi.. nice vid!

@KayannaBanana1 hi kayanna.. thank you! I'll stay on. Have a nice day! 😃
Thank you so much for your support! ❤️ do you have any specific questions relating to the foot pedal or are you looking for a general overview?

What is it doing that's weird? I need to find a new spot for it 😅
@@KayannaBanana1Idk seems a bit impudent and passive aggressive to me. Maybe it feels a bit left out in your relationship or smth
