PVC GENERATOR SHELTER
มุมมอง 83หลายเดือนก่อน
I built this shelter using 1 inch PVC pipe . I purchased the fittings from Circo Innovations Inc. www.circoinnovations.com. The fittings are secured to the pipe with self tapping screws. My shelter is 3 ft. high by 5 ft. long by 3 ft. wide. The tarp is 10 x 12. I secured the tarp with snap clamps and bungee cords. A couple of sandbags or cinder blocks could be used to keep the shelter in place....

Two Ways to Restring the Milwaukee M18 String Trimmer
Im confusesd, i just beought some moulds ro start making stuff, ive researched on here, google a few places what i need, now im getting 2 different suggestions, i saw im meanr to use cement, then i saw im meant to use concrete.
Nice work , where do you purchase to molds?
I have bought from Ebay. Google search cement molds.
@ I been looking on amazon but it gives me candle molds lol
@@Angelparra832 Try rubbermoldman.com. I have bought from him as well.
Please tell us how you made the fiberglass mold please.
Where do you get or how do you make the fiberglass shell?
Nice catch. Does this white deer show up much with it's family much or is this the first time?
I have seen her alone as well as with other deer, too. My first sighting was a year ago.
I just love nature! ❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤❤❤
I saw a Bigfoot back there!
Thank you!
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Thank you
Your welcome. Glad you liked it.
That is a good technique especially for that particular mold. But, if you have something like a rabbit with ears, then it takes a lot more care. I fill with sand a little, poor a little concrete into the mold, more sand into the container, etc. What you don't want is the weight of the statue when it's full with concrete to bend the ears, or more likely the neck. I found that percolite works better than sand for cases like rabbits and other molds that have detailed extremities. Relatively straight/round molds, sand works perfectly fine as shown. I have a penguin mold that has a little beak. I fill the penguins head first then put it in the sand (or percolite) and pour the material around the head. Alternating filling the container with sand and pouring concrete into the mold helps keep the penguin's beak from distorting within the sand. It's not a perfect technique but with experience you will have more success. I have a large rabbit mold that I have yet to get a perfect statue using this technique. Either the neck bends or the little pot on his back (for a small plant) turns inside out. This mold might require building a fiberglass shell for it. But how do you build the fiberglass shell without having the concrete in the mold in good shape? Chicken egg problem. I am about to experiment doing this with various techniques.
Thanks for the very informative comment. I have the same problem with a chicken mold. It's very difficult to get the chicken's beak right. I do that mold the same as you.
❤❤video great 😊😊
Thank you.
What kind of quikrete is this
The mix is portland cement and sand. I did not use quikrete.
Where you buy ur molds from?
I’m about to do the same on my 2012 ram, the rocker is basically gone at this point, I’m think it still Has the door sill to tape to but the rocker itself I don’t know lol.
Highly detailed and informative well worth my time 😉😌
Thank you. I appreciate your thoughts.
I Don't have a fibre glass outter case !! But can I use bucket of sand to place rubber mould into then pour my cement.?
Yes, you can. Here is a video I made about doing that. th-cam.com/video/dBs4SUzuITI/w-d-xo.html
@johnsonscorner7065 that's for the reply. I will definitely give this a go .
Your horse’s name should be “ dusty.” Beautiful horse.
LOVE THE MITER CUT TIP! Looks good :) What are the cut dimensions of your box? Just curious, I've been playing around with some "trash" pickets (real 1x6 treated). So far I've tried layered crosses, a small box with regular lid, and a slice fishing lure box (which I over sanded the lid and... yeah). I about gave up on the slide lid until I found your video. And to my delight I not only learned about slide lids but how to get the miter cuts right!! I'm going to draw a line or use tape from now on!! Thank you so much for sharing. Tifkat
Thank you. The box is 6 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, and 2 inches high.
where to buy molds?
Ebay. Rubbermoldman.com
where to buy the mal?
how do you make the silicone mold to begin with?
I'm just worried about the rusting underneath. Would've been a good idea to spray some rust converter before applying the panels..
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who dreads the end of the growing season!
Thank you.
After removing the casting from the mold, do you need to keep it moist until the cement/concrete cures?
It is not necessary for the most part. Keep it out of direct sun to slow the curing. If the weather is hot and dry, spritzing with some water would be fine.
I love that mold you used! Such beautiful detail.
Thanks!
Can these b painted
Your question would be best for an auto body person to answer.
The Bushwacker literature says these can be painted with proper prep.
So, really just showing how to use a premade mold that can be purchased to reproduce statue replicas. 🤓
if you remove small stones and make the sand 100% same size, you can make this perfect
How do you make your molds? Do you sculpt them out of clay and cover them with rubber?
Wow, how rude! So many of the comments are derogatory. He’s just demonstrating what he does? He doesn’t have to share his technique with anyone, but he did! Give the guy a break 🙄
Our family had a "59! My father bought it new and it had a 326 cid V8. Came from Missouri, but the winters in Wisconsin with salt just killed that car. By 1965 she was like swiss cheese, rust holes all over and No trunk floor at all.......Two tone blue. Thanks for the memory!
Thank you for your memory. My dad often thought about swapping out the six for a v8, but I'm glad he never did.
Great! Nice and peaceful
Thanks.
Nice, Where to buy?

@johnsonscorner7065 thank you. i did purchase them and installed they look really good👍
@@manurr5333 That's great. I am still very happy with mine.
Sir may i know what will happen if the cement mixture is too loose? What does fine line mean?
If the mixture is loose it will take longer to dry and may also lose strength when cured. Fine line is just an expression.
With a scrub-scrub her and a scrub-scrub there, and a couple of lah de da’s, that’s how we pass the day away in the ‘59 ?Dodge garage!
Fiberglass molds last much more longer then latex molds...if you're you're going to make a complicated mold with a lot of detail use silicone instead of latex.
that noooo was phenomenal
Scrubbing bubbles is so smart!!! Get rid of mold and keep it away longer! Never would have crossed my mind
Thanks!
I love seeing people letting the horse decide if they can be brushed. Not tied up and forced. Such a gentle and loving atmosphere, thank you for sharing and letting me live this experience vicariously through you. ❤️
Thank you!
Thank you sir for posting this amazing video. I envy you for still having the 1959 Dodge you drove in high school. When I was 17 years old in January 1976 I bought a 1959 Dodge station wagon. My best buddy Glen from school had bought a 1959 Ford Custom 500, so I was inspired to buy a car from the 1950s. I am a Canadian, so the 1959 Dodge I bought was the Canuck version, with same front end as an American 1959 Dodge, but with the same interior & tail fins as a U.S. 1959 Plymouth. Cars made in the Dominion were weirdly different. Anyway, I really enjoyed your narration & explaining all the steps you went through to coax your lovely 1959 Dodge back to life. So glad you got her running again. I liked your comment when you got behind the steering wheel, about the tight fit. If I still had my 1959 Dodge Suburban station wagon nowadays I would have to suck my gut in. When I drove my '59 Dodge daily from January 1976 until July 0f 1979 I weighed about 135 pounds soaking wet with a 29 inch waist. Again, sir, it is so cool you still have your 1959 Dodge from your teenage years, in the second decade of the 21st century. What happened to my 1959 Dodge? Well, by July of 1979 the transmission was messed up & nasty rust started appearing in the rocker panels & over headlights. I replaced my '59 Dodge with a 1960 Plymouth Fury, but yeah, that's a story for another time.
Thank you so much for your interest and for your story. I really love exchanging stories about these wonderful old cars.
Wow this is so interesting to me! Thank you for such a detailed video.
Thanks!
Would love to see cold starts of this too!
Would love to see more cold starts of this from inside and show us what you do with the gas pedal
how much do those rubber molds cost though??
Here is where I got most of my molds. Rubbermoldman.com
How many days did you wait until you released it from the mold?
It depends on the weather. If it's warm and dry 1 day. If it's cool, humid, or wet I give it 2 days.
Where I can get this thing you pouring cement in from please ?
Dakota was really enjoying being brushed!!
He definitely loves being rubbed and scratched, which is so great considering he started life as a wild mustang.
What paint is suitable for molds
There is no reason to paint the molds.
What paint would I use on these
Latex paint has worked best for me.
Brush it with water so it will absorb, then use acrylic paint especially for patios.
Those real classic cars can be restored to run again. Today's plastic fed compacts go ruined for any slight damage and are too expensive to repair. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.
