2020 all the way for me not really had many problems since day one and for 2024 there is nothing new that wants me too change any time soooon

What about flight model, maybe I missed that. I have both and despite the bugs in 2024 which are plentiful, it’s difficult going back to 2020. Problem is a Behemoth PC is required to enjoy it’s full glory.

Fs2024 = absolute trash.

You can't make a fair comparison of the two sims when one of them isn't finished yet. Microsoft and Asobo should be ashamed for this premature release. I suggest setting FS2024 aside, and do not boot it back up again until at least 11/15/2025. If most of the bugs are not worked out by that date, then you can decide if its worth the investment. Until then, FS2020 is a great sim that runs fairly stable and looks good too. Go ahead and enjoy it while you wait for the new sim to be fixed (or not).

I'm in the opposite situation as most; I never bought 2020 but got pulled into simming again by 2024 coming out when I was kind of searching for something to play. Now I've spent a bunch of money on 2024 but kind of wish I'd gone with 2020.

Moving from MSFS2020 to MSFS2024 is not an upgrade - it is a downgrade in almost every respect. Don't buy MSFS2024 people. Serious simmers llike me. who reluctantly trusted Microsoft and Asobo, have been seriously ripped off.

FS2024 a waste of money. Load time ,performance. Compatibility. Not worth it. Staying with FS2020.

Msfs 2020 is deff a better simulator on how it runs, 2024 crashes alot and needs updated but i enjoy the career of 2024 i havent seen a career option in 2020 and judt free flight with some random challenges, msfs 2024 has a career that you can start from any location of your choosing and as you advance the career you unlock further locations from your start location witvh is actually pretty neat and so far iy sewms like its going to be a very long career

None since you cannot use multiple monitors and place instrument panels on certain displays and outer view on other monitors, you are stuck with the 3D cockpits, useless

Nearly unplayable on Xbox. I managed to get my first cargo company and complete a few missions for it. But now every single mission I do, I’m tormented by hurricane speed winds. Doesn’t matter if I have live weather turned on or off.

To fix the steering on the A330, go to the tablet inside the plane click options and there should be an option that says rudders controls tiller. That should fix it

Quick search, took me like 2 min... Eric from Asobo confirmed 16 days ago that you'll be able to download ANY package including aircraft in “My Library” in a future update, probably before Christmas. Sorry, Muffin does not allow links in the comments but you'll be able to find the post yourself, it's on the official devsupport from flight simulator

For now I'll stick to MSFS 2020, maybe in a year or by mid 2025 they'll have MSFS 2024 running decently with improvements, i think it'll take quiet sometime for devs to improve msfs2024.

Hi ... As it seems to rely more on streaming than what uou can download to your PC or Xbox I think I'll be sticking with FS2020. So much I know so little about in FS2020.

2020 has had a lot of work done to it. Before 2024 gets to the same std i with 2020 and keep geting more add ons when they come down in price. A tried 2024 on pc pass .maybe try again in twelve months our so time

what software are you using to monitor FPS?

From what I have seen the solution may be to pre download the aircraft once that facility is available. Currently I believe aircraft are streamed in MSFS2024.

You play on 2560 x 1440( 1440p) so for example if you used a 1080p monitor you would get significantly more fps

Nobody asked for cloud streaming. I’m sticking to msfs2020 for a long time. 2024 has to prove to me that it can be a good sim. As of new, it’s just disappointment after disappointment
