did deon estas play on this.....and that must be the LINN Drum machine.......everything came together at the right time in this recording you couldnt replicate this you could try ..but you wouldnt get the emotion on the day they recorded it props to all who played their part...the stars were aligned

That's a good one. And Dire Straits sound is so selective it makes the whole thing even easier.

The best thing is Artur Brown is 82 years old and he's still active performer. This hit allowed him to do his own thing art-wise and I must say his songs and performances are very good. Unfortunately this time the software added too much distortion. You could try to deconstruct some of his more modern songs.
