SWIPER NO SWIPING!
now you have wood mergansers. you should probally remove the netting for them cause they have to learn how to dive.
Holy Shit!!
Do you sell your waterfowl in the fall? We are looking to add more species to our Aviaries. Currently have Mandarins, and Teals.
Yes
@@duckdays9451 How can I contact you about buying a few pairs from you?
Looks great! Did you ever paint the body?
Yes, but never used it yet, we haven't been out with the droids since covid. Here is a video of the first time out with the other BB we built first. th-cam.com/video/HwcoWHqnQLA/w-d-xo.html

Hi mate, I writing from England. Please how long did it take from pipping to hatching. I have Mandarins and mine took averagely around 30 hours plus from pipping to hatching. Thanks
I've had some hatch in a day and others take 3 days.
@@duckdays9451 Thanks. I just hatched some on Sunday but it took around 3 days plus and I had to intervene on all the eggs.

Good
I have some mallerds and black ducks and pintal not ducking
Hey I’ve got 4 mallard there about 6 weeks old is there ever really an age where they get used to you and stop fleeing when you enter they’re enclosure or what is your opinion ?
If you find the right treats they will calm down. Try some peas for a little bit. Also use Mazuri waterfowl food as a treat, you can throw some in the water with them and it will float for 10 minutes or so.
Awesome video! Have you had any success with your ring teal?
Mine have had 3 breeding seasons and she only laid 2 eggs with 1 hatch. Some people raise tons.
I would truly like to buy 6 green wing and 6 cinnamon eggs from you

Do you sell eggs and if you do what kind of price for green wings and cinnamon teal eggs
I don't sell eggs just adult birds in the fall.
Awesomeness :) Drakes are amazing their color changes... Down here its getting to midautumn so all my feathers are looking scraggly with their feather drops :) Telling duck not to go in the water... Bahhhh - Those ladies can be pretty good at dropping eggs 'elsewhere' btw, could you have hidden stashes in inconvenient places?
That's the best part of Ring teal the male keeps his color all year.
At What age started laying?
First year.
Plucking hurts coud'nt have just clipped
I have clipped wings then they can't fly until they molt which is around 8 months from when I get a duck. Pulling the feathers hurts much less than you think, and the duck can fly in a month. I usually don't do either, but some ducks don't settle down for a while and can hurt or kill themselves flying into the netting. I had a Wood duck that almost died hitting the netting that was in the aviary for a week, I clipped him after that.
What are the dimensions to all of your nest boxes?
