Anthrax - "No Time This Time" (The Police cover)
Released in 1996, off the Australian "Nothing" Ep. Who is singing this song? It does not sound like John Bush. If anybody knows, please leave a comment.

In and out Try to be What you see Anarchy Everything, everyone, everyman Rebellion But you can't make a move If you win then you lose Look at me to approve You're so hard, you're so real You got nothing Who laughs last? A question, not a task I ask, What's your reason, Do you believe in anything? I don't want to how you're so driven I don't want to know your influence I don't need to prove myself I just need to be myself It doesn't show how I'm trying to be It just shows who I am Gone, Take your packaged rebellion Move on, Revolution on your sleeve If you say, mean it If you mean it, do it You can't live your life through me Gone, Take your packaged Rebellion With the air you breathe Look around No one cares Who you are Why or where You're so blind, you're so dumb, you're so deaf Like a gun That you can't even shoot To the point that is moot And you don't have a clue You're so hard, you're so real You got nothing Who laughs last? Nice
I appreciate Joey, but John Bush is the Man!
Best Album
What bands are they singing about in particular on this song? Anyone? I much prefer John Bush's vocals incidently. Fits so much better.
Rage against the machine
To the 8 people that thumbs down, fucking die infront of your loved ones, tool ass losers. Probably tbink some cartoon networks shit matters.
The original i think personaly is better antrax is no doubt a great band
jajajajaja
great song !!
Anthrax he'll yeah!!!
kelly vilchezh Anthrax rules! Btw beautiful face 😀
Fight song against Soros.
It's actually a fight song against Alex Jones and all of the far right wing conspiracy theory Truthers,as well as against the 90s' grunge/alt.rock music artists of the time and the heavy exploitation of that very musical culture(that this song was made).
The George Soros theme song.
yup, best Anthrax by far, one of those albums where every song rocked!
uno de los.mejores álbum csm! lml
jajajajajajajajajaja
I'm sorry but "Noisegate" song it's not in the 1993's ep "Only" This ep includes 1 Only (Radio Edit) 2 Cowboy Song (Thin Lizzy cover) 3 Sodium Pentathol
+KB-P2730 It was on CD2 of "Only" in the UK, there were two discs released. www.discogs.com/Anthrax-Only/release/868591
Oh.!! I'm sorry i didn't know that thanx anyway..:-)
There's more than one version
@@aleajactaest732 Didn't know that...Thanx 4 the information!
A little ANTHRAX makes the world go 'round! \m/
IMO it's the best Anthrax album, period. And this is one of my favourite tracks. By the way, John Bush rules, as does Armored Saint.
hell yeah dude, agreed
not a big Armored Saint fan, but was always a fan of Anthrax, and i thought pairing of thrax's heavy swing and groove and Bush's lower, more gravelly register was excellent... this is the one Anthrax album i still listen to with any kind of frequency...
Having choppy video sound where I live....any suggestions please ??
Testing 123
We share a memory friend :) Same happened to me. Best gift I have ever received!
nice copy huh ?
Great stuff
I've never heard of this ep before. Anybody know what other tracks are on this ?
It's not an EP. It's the "only" single. It has the A-side: only and 2 B-sides: aux wiedersehen and this.
It's not Sting singing. The effect you hear is there because it's on the original version by The Police. Go listen to The Police version. You'll hear the difference. I admit that it's close, but it's not Sting. Before I saw what year it was released (1996), I would've guessed it was Joey Belladonna on vocals. But I don't think he was in the band in '96. I could see Frank Bello doing this. The early stuff by The Police had some bonafide punk in it.
Yeah Bush was definitely in the band at this time and you can tell that's him doing the background vocals
The Gospel of Yahshua (Jesus) Hamashiach (Christ) is foolishness to all those perishing. I pray for John Bush. Hamashiach hath destroyed our pact with death!
Not a huge Anthrax fan (always preferred Slayer tbh), but I'm probably the biggest Smiths devotee ever, so I love this anyway.
i slept outside your window
es aqui cuando ves estos covers q te das cuenta: los smiths una de las bandas mas influyentes del puto planeta
One of the first CDs I bought as a kid. It totally changed my outlook on life and music. This is one of those songs you can listen to after years and fall in love all over again.
man me too I was 13 just seen ur comment man what a great fucking record
+Doug Owens fuck, dude, absolutely! Doesn't that just make you wish you were back there again!? Nothing quite like experiencing music and loving it when you're a teenager
Me too lol
I highly doubt Morrissey would approve of this cover. Good cover, though.
The effect on the vocals sounds just like the one The Police used. I think it's great they covered this tune! It's definitely one of my favorite songs by The Police.
Airheads brought me here :)
airheads brought me everywhere :))
Warp speed, Mr. Sulu!
same here :B
A boring lacklustre album.
Scott Ian recently said he hated Morrissey's voice but his band covered The Smiths. Bit odd.
Horrible.
Bush , Joey take your pick yate yate yata Its like Scott or Johnson with ac-dc . most all they did as a band no matter Who was up front kicked ass . And only a complete DICK would say the SOUND OF WHITE NOISE was not one of this bands best albums and yes BUSH did it
anthrax covering the smiths! Even moz would approve. fuckin' epic
In the end, everything is just a matter of taste, I know that. But even if I know that Anthrax decided not to only play Thrash with John Bush, I still can't understand why people hate him, especially when you see his amazing charisma on stage, and his amazing voice. Anyway, if you still can't get into this period after the few things I just recommended... the very last shot I can suggest you isn't by Anthrax, but Armored Saint, with the 1984 album: March of the Saints. ►Fucking amazing album.
Well, at least you have the wish to discover John Bush, that's great cause many people don't even try... following everyone's opinion. What should I recommend... ? For sure, almost everything off this album and WCFYA. I like Volume 8 («Crush, Catharsis, Inside Out, Harms Way, Stealing from a Thief / Pieces»... those tracks are really cool). But honestly, the best of John Bush is when he sings Neil & Joey's stuff. He's WAY better than them when he does it. So listen to "The Greater of 2 Evils".
Volume 8 is still for me the best album from anthrax, its criminal how underrated it is.
Can you recommend any songs? So far I've only heard this album along with WCFYA. I skimmed through their bush era stuff but I could never really get into it. I need to give BushThrax another shot!
NIce nice song
