Overcome Dad Guilt- Troy Mangum- Kindling Fire Podcast
I believe “Dad Guilt” is one of the main reasons for men’s disengagement & passivity in the family as well as sidestepping any type of spiritual leadership at home. Learn how you can overcome it and re-engage in your family.
On this podcast, you’ll learn
- What 1Cor. 11:4 meant when it warned Men not to pray with their head covered
- How King David’s lack of engagement made matters worse in his family relationships
- How to overcome guilt from failures through faith
- How you can gain confidence and strength to re-engage in your family again
I will read an excerpt from my book Fatherhood Faceplants-
Chapter 15- Live Uncovered - Dads must overcome Guilt to engage.

Jamie, I love your voice. I know that's one of the things you confessed that you didn't like about yourself, but I want you to know I find your voice to be calming, soothing, kind, loving, and accepting. Long before I heard you talk about your voice, I told my friend how much I love your voice. It is PERFECT for what you do, for who God created you to be. Your voice is, in my opinion, very much a gift to the world.

Not being critical, just trying to understand. It seems as though that some of this teaching goes beyond what the Scripture has said. I don't see identity throughout the Bible in the manner that it's expressed in this conversation.

Hi Troy! I think I left this comment in the wrong place so I'm leaving it again here. Thank you for this speaking. I wanted to let you know that there are non-Quaker Christians meeting this way all over the world, "whenever you come together each one has...". Look in directories for "the church in ___________ [name of the city]". Attend the meeting there and you will find rows of chairs arranged in "squares" and saints standing in turn to speak [or sing] as led by the Holy Spirit. Also, there is a typo in the link to your website on the apple podcast page for this episode. Thank you for these messages!

Yikes! Such misuse of scripture ignoring other scriptures! We do separate ourselves, we do imitate others, Paul said imitate me as I imitate Christ. We are supposed to examine ourselves to see if you're in the faith. This is psychological mumbo jumbo. Read your bibles people. Stop letting people interpret His Word for you! This is very self centered. See through this deception!!!
