I have no manual for my stove as it this was an appliance in a pre-owned townhouse that I purchased. Having already cleaned the oven and door I was ready to put the door back on but I wasn’t having any luck whatsoever so 3 hours later until I finally found your video after having watched at least a 1/2 dozen other video and, I’m relieved you made what was seeming impossible…possible! I wasn’t even aware of those latches and, didn’t readily see them until I saw your video and, for some reason the latches released themselves when I took the door off. Bless you as I honestly thought I was going to have to resort to enlisting outside help 😅🥴

This is an excellent d-i-y video. My stove is identical only black. I have already cleaned the 'exposed' inside glass but I needed this instruction to remove the door and access the protected outside face of the inner glass, to clean it like new.

What kind of screw driver for the handle remover?

Thank you so much for posting this video! I have a 20 year old Kenmore stove, that had gunk dripped on the inside surfaces of the oven door glass pieces. Your video gave me all the info that I needed to remove the oven door, disassemble it, and clean the glass panes.

Thank You! my particular hing replacement was a nightmare on elm st. the installer had the door lock on and closed the oven door and bent the sh!t out of the oven hinge. Apparently he bent it some what back in place . I never caught it as the door opened and close ok and I never noticed any problems... 10 years later the hinge failed completely... I could not remove the door as you showed I had to CUT the hing off what a hassle it took hours with a hack saw. Finally go it off and then I had to tap two of the 3 holes in the new hinge cuz they were to small for the screws. Finally got it all back together and the LAST screw..the third hinge screw hole... was BIGGER then the screw that came out of it!! I had to take it all apart again It took hours to get a new screw that would work but finally got it! The re-install took 2 minutes just as you showed it. WHAT A HASSLE.

Thanks for your video. I have an older model with different hinges than yours, however, I suspect the door is pretty much the same. Our range came with the house, and I just thought the paint like streaks on the inside glass was just a manufacturing defect. Now I see I can take it apart to clean it.

Believe it or not I did not search for this video to listen to the captivating back story about WHY you decided to remove the oven door. While you're not the only uploader to wrongfully conclude their's might also be a human interest story, that doesn't waste any less planetary man-hours.

My door came off with hinges NOT LOCKED . Any help for me to get them locked so I can get the door back on?

Just made saying if you take the four screws at the bottom off the front glass just slides out so you don’t have to mess with the handle
