Excadrill vs Toxtricity Solo ~ #Dynamax #pokemongo #Solo
Without a Gigantamax Pokemon these battles take a little while! But without a community in my nearby areas I am forced to attempt to solo this content
Excadrill does a fantastic job against Toxricity thanks to its x4 weakness to ground
Excadrill had level 2 attack and level 1 shield, perhaps if I had just 11 more XL candies this could have been over in under 4 minutes instead?
I pray for the day Niantic allow us to turn Pokemon into Gigantamax versions from their Dynamax variants, they don’t seem to understand not every single area doesn’t have a community to play this game.

      I really hope I can get a gigantamax Pokemon in the near future, sadly none of my local surrounding towns or villages have communities so I’m kind of stuck on that content, I’m hoping Toxricity can be duod or triod due to its x4 weakness to ground or I’m going to have to look into getting multiple devices :/

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    29:55 Wow. If the colours on the door are anything to go by, the final dojo is Water, Mental, Neutral and Electric. DoubleScreen reduces damage from dual typed Temtem by 10%. If you forgot to look up Deceit Aura, it's a bit like Pokémon's Trick Room. (Although in this case, Nagaise outsped you, meaning that it kept going last all of the time...)

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The Chieftan's Barrow is a place of power, where you can evolve Tuwai (and catch more of them), although I believe you have to complete the story before they'll let you battle them. Unseen Blow is only learned at high level, which is why you've started seeing it around (even on Temtem that have been around since Deniz). Arissola was actually Wind and Water. Mokupuni was Fire and Nature. Nanga was all four. Quetzal was Crystal and Toxic. Vumbi was Earth and Neutral. Neoedo was Electric and Digital. Lochburg was Melee (and Electric again, apparently, from the colours on the door). Properton is going to be Mental (and Water again, apparently, although the colours also suggest Electric yet again and Neutral again).

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You should unequip Temtem that you put in the TemDeck, otherwise you'll lose track of their Gear. I think that Chromeon was probably Digital/Melee type. A Revive doesn't normally restore XP, but fortunately your Oree was holding the Coward's Cloak so it got a share of XP anyway. Momo will struggle in the next Dojo as it will have a type disadvantage; Oree will at least have super-effective STAB, but it has to watch out for Water types, while Crystal types will usually have a type advantage, but have to watch out for Fire and Melee types. Maoala may have Hypnotist, but its moves all have at least one turn of Hold, so it can't make use of that turn of sleep itself, however if its ally is immune to sleep for some reason then it can of course still attack. (Even better if its ally has Soft Touch, although most Temtem with that Trait are unevolved.) Nice, swapping Temtem happens before throwing Temcards, so you get to use the Four-Leaf Clover on the same turn. I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but Temtem battles have no RNG. In particular, two identical Pokémon will speed tie each turn, meaning that you never know which one will move first (assuming no other effects such as Tailwind or Choice Scarf are in play), but this can't happen in Temtem. I don't actually know the formula for resolving speed ties, but the game handily reports the result to you using the Speed Arrow, so at least you know what happened. By airport I assume Maricarmen means airship terminal? I don't think it's referred to as an airport anywhere else. Aina actually left home just after you told Fatima about Max, so if you had gone back since then you wouldn't have seen her there. I can't remember whether you actually saw the Stowaway in all the places he mentioned. In the Narwhal's first flight he was in the hold. In Tucma you were of course both in the same cell. In Kisiwa he was standing close to Adia Turay just before Operation Tusk. And in Telobos he was hanging around outside the locked quarters. There are a few other level 100 Temtem around but not that many that you shouldn't be able to handle them. Towly is Melee/Mental; female Towly evolves into Wind/Mental Barnshe, while mail Towly evolves into Wind/Melee Owlhe.

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    My guess is that both here and the Tucma crash have to have the same behaviour, which would be to reset you to the point at which you arrived on the island. After all, that's what Smoke Bombs do in Omninesia and Cipanku, and Kisiwa to some extent (I think they take you back to the Historical Customs Office, but then again, it does contain a HealTem station, so maybe that's not so surprising). Ooh, Iain noticed Naolin? I hadn't ...noticed that before. There's a lot of Scottish pronunciation here; words like loch (as in Loch Ness) and och (as in och aye the noo) are pronounced with a soft ch that doesn't exist south of the border, although it is the same as in German. (Speaking of och aye the noo, which isn't actually a real Scottish phrase, aye is pronounced the same as eye.) Yes, you have identified two of the four ArchTamers. (But in real time you've probably reached the Cromlech by now, so you know that anyway.)

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    At last: somebody got the Hell's Kitchen reference! Hmm, surely that should be Pigepicsty? You didn't talk to the "Belsoto" outside the locked bedroom... maybe you didn't recognise him?

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You don't recognise the Stowaway? I can't remember whether you actually met him on the Narwhal or Kisiwa as those encounters were optional, but you definitely met him in Quetzal; he gave you the cloak your character is wearing. I'm pretty sure he normally uses level 100 Temtem, so the Temtem he actually used were low level by his standards. Deceit Aura is a bit like Pokémon's Trick Room. Your primary means of identifying Chromeon is from its colour - its primary type is always Digital but its secondary type can be any type (or it can just be pure Digital). Rather conveniently, catching any type of Chromeon gives you the right type matchup circles without having to know which colour is which. The other way is to see whether it uses a move that isn't Digital or Neutral type; in this case it used Blizzard which means it was Wind type. Once an NPC Piraniant reaches level 58 it only has one attack with no Hold that it can use on its first turn, which as you saw is Humiliating Slap. Zenoreth won't use its Crystal type attack against your Akranox because its Earth typing resists Crystal. The centre of the Sacred Lake is actually a Mythical Lair, but you have to complete a side quest before you can even start unlocking it.

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Even faster than hovering the mouse over the "Run" button, I think there's a shortcut key; check under Redefine Controls in the options menu. If you're using a controller, it might show you the controller buttons instead, or some of the Xbox controller buttons are shown in the patch notes: crema.gg/temtem/temtem-0-5-early-access/ By using the Smoke Bomb you missed out on the chance to pick up those TemCard+ in that item box.

    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    One TH-camr was actually worried that their microphone would pick up the vibrations from their controller. (I don't have a controller anyway, but I don't know what actions would trigger the vibration.) There are other places where the map's display of the third dimension is a little confusing. The ones I can think off offhand are in the Thalassian Cliffs, where it's not obvious which way to go from Arissola to Briçal de Mar, and surfing outside Windward Fort, where the mini-Temporium is indicated on the map even though you can't access it. Yes, Loatle is Mental/Digital, which is why it resisted Neutral. The other top is the Anonymous Cloak, which the Stowaway gave you in Tucma. Momo isn't part of an evolutionary line. Embers won't Burn Ganki because it's Resistant. Innki will turn out to be important later, which is why the frustrated tamer and the tamer snob mentioned it.

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes, Mimit has the War Drum, but fortunately for you, both of your Temtem were Special attackers, so not only did it stop working once it had mimicked you, but it could no longer keep switching who it was mimicking, which would otherwise have become really annoying. Berhano mentioned Shiratama, so actually you already know she's a Belsoto defector. The teleporters were added specifically so that Dojo leader rematches wouldn't be annoying. The SaiCard item is a little annoying due to its time limit. Imagine if you picked it up with mere minutes left! If you ask the mascot to stop speaking like that he asks "like what?" Not only can you run around in the towel, you can even dye it. You don't see the * story marker on the map if it's in an area of the map that hasn't been visited yet.

    • @Timbued
      @Timbued 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was very fortunate! It's such a cool take on a ditto clone i do like it's ability to transform even after being transformed, does Mimit completely copy the stats of the opponent like Ditto? or does it just take their skills and typing? And i'm glad they added them! when i get a full team of level 100's ready i do wna rematch them all, do they give prizes weekly? And yeah sadly i didn't use the card in time, i kinda wish there was a warning or the time was frozen until you enter the sai park again, i feel kinda dumb for wasting it tbh. And aww i didn't have the heart to tell them to stop xD ooo may have to dye my towel lol, seems like a fun/silly outfit

    • @urkerab
      @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Timbued Yes, Dojo Leader rematches give up to 10,000 Pansuns depending on your level and how many times you lose. Beating the main Dojo on each island also gives you up to three special reward items each week that increases the chances of finding a Luma of one of the local Temtem.

    • @urkerab

      @@Timbued (Although like the SaiCards the Luma hunting items only last until the end of the week.)

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Prior to v0.8, you used to be able to catch varieties of Koish with any secondary type in Moyo Lake; this was handy as an Iridsecent Digital Koish was a good pick for the Dojo as it's super-effective against Digital but resists both Digital and Electric. Since v0.8 though you have to hope that Digital Koish is the Koish of the week at the Nuru Lodge, as you can't catch Digital Koish in the wild until you reach the Sacred Lake. You have to complete a side quest before you can catch Mimit. Striking Transmog only works with Physical attacks, so an easy way to beat it is to use Special attackers. In the Dojo room with a lot of items, you deliberately tried to cover all of the room, but overlooked the item in the bottom right corner. Correct, Amphatyr is Electric/Nature type. Yes, 0b10 is indeed Digital/Electric. What's so confusing about that? Yes, Chubee was 4× weak to Electric, but its type changes when it evolves, so Waspeen is only neutral to Electric. You remembered three but Mental is the fourth type that's weak to Electric.

    • @Timbued
      @Timbued 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Damm i missed a good chance to mass catch Koish huh? I recently off stream did the fishing sidequest and tried to get the right pattern Koish, sadly i released 210 before giving up on the right patter xD Atleast it helped with my free a tem :p And dammit i guess i'll have to revisit the dojo in the future! and i don't know why i just get confused and thing it's just electric or just digital or part flying for some bizarre reason lol

    • @urkerab
      @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Timbued Only 210? Sadly you have to catch 1,000 to be sure of getting a matching Koish. (But if you're lucky and find a near match, hand it in, and you will get a lure which reduces the number you need to catch by 500. (If you've already caught at least 499 that week that means that the next one will match.))

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you check back then you'll see that the little compartment didn't activate back when you didn't have the Phial. Also, the number of slots on the front that light up depends on the number of Temtem in your party. Correct, Smolzy evolves into Sparzy. But you can't actually catch one in the wild; if you want one, you have to catch Sparzy and breed a Smolzy egg. If you notice, there were some Quetzalian Guards next to Homura in the cutscene, but they're drunk which is why they didn't stop him. You do need to talk to the Hermit if you want to gain access to the Digital shrine. (Technically this means that you can grind up before the Dojo should you so wish.) Chromeon is like Koish; it comes in twelve variants depending on its secondary type. Halzhi evolves into the Temtem which the Onsenshima mascot was cosplaying. You should give Momo the Resistance Badge.

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It should be quicker to surf from Zadar to Briçal De Mar, although going to Zadar the land might be quicker because all of the ledges are in your favour. The delivery job at the post office is something you can do post game to earn Pansuns and random reward items. Homura actually made two mistakes: As well as saying that Dr. Sasaya was in her office while he was with Tetsuya, although you can't see her office from his desk, he said that Dr. Wood went for ramen in the evening, although the receptionist said that it was lunchtime.

    Most Temtem have no non-Neutral coverage. One notable exception, which you can't quite catch just yet, is Oree, which gets Mechanical Heat, Cold Breeze and Tesla Prison, plus you can choose between Crystal Bite, Frond Whip, Telekinetic Shrapnel and Wastewater when breeding one, plus Zaobian learns Laundry from TC041, although you only acquire that near the very end of the story. Some other exceptions: Tateru learns Stone Ball. Taifu learns Dust Vortex. Wiplump, Piraniant, Momo and Anahir learn Head Charge. Saku learns Urushiol and Narcoleptic Hit. Scaravolt learns Earthbreaker. Mastone and Grumper learn Horror from TC040, although you only acquire that late in the story. Ukama learns Blizzard and Denigrate. Oceara learns Blizzard. Yowlar learns Oshi-Dashi. Saipat learns Venemous Claws and can learn Toxic Ink by breeding. Raignet learns Perfect Jab and can learn Turbine by breeding. Noxolotl learns Horror from TC040 and can learn Narcoleptic Hit by breeding. Gazuma learns Laundry from TC041 and can learn Turbine by breeding. Pigpeic learns Oshi-Dashi and can learn Head Charge and Sharp Rain by breeding. Mouflank can learn Head Charge by breeding. Nidrasil can learn Narcoleptic Hit by breeding. Babawa can learn Toxic Slime by breeding. Vulcrane can learn Hook by breeding. A number of Temtem learn Noxious Bomb from TC007. Also, several non-Earth type Temtem learn Sand Splatter. You lose one fertility for every 50 (perfect) or 49 SV your Temtem has. Temtem with 49 SV might still be worth it though, if you can'f find one with a 50 SV. Apart from FreeTem you can already sign up for daily postal service deliveries in the Uhuru Post Office in Kisiwa, you can go fishing weekly at the Nuru Lodge, and you can rematch Dojo Leaders weekly, although note that those battles use the competitive format bring 8 ban 2 pick 5, items are not allowed, and the Leader's Temtem will all be at the same level as the highest level in your competitive squad. There is a Trait Swap item, but you can only randomly get it as a reward from FreeTem, the postal service, fishing, or mythical lairs (which you can't access yet). (Note that you can check the FreeTem notice to see if they're giving away the right item.) Alternatively, when breeding, you can equip one parent with the Engineered DNA Strand, to inherit the trait slot. Otherwise, the Trait is random. There is a Temspotter item, which when activated shows which wild Temtem have at least one 49 or 50 SV. There is one available on the last island, or you can get more randomly as rewards from FreeTem, the postal service or fishing. Ampling yields 2 SPD TVs. (You can check this in your Tempedia. You don't even have to catch one to find this out.) The NPC levels in Iwaba range from 42 to 66, so 56 seems reasonable for you to have. When breeding, you want to start with a pair with perfect HP and STA, a pair with perfect ATK and DEF, and a pair with perfect SPATK and SPDEF. Once you have Temtem with those specific pairs of perfect SVs, you can then use DNA strands which pass both pairs of SVs. SPD has to be done separately. Example: Breed perfect HP+STA twice, ATK+DEF, SPATK+SPDEF, then breed perfect HP+STA+SPD twice, SPD+ATK+DEF, SPD+SPATK+SPDEF, then breed perfect HP+STA+SPD+ATK+DEF and HP+STA+SPD+SPATK+SPDEF, then finally breed perfect HP+STA+SPD+ATK+DEF+SPATK+SPDEF. For that last case, because both parents have perfect HP+STA+SPD, the egg will automatically have perfect HP+STA+SPD, and then the DNA strands will make the egg inherit the perfect ATK+DEF and SPATK+SPDEF from the appropriate parent.

    When I saw you retreat Gazuma, who's super-effective against Pocus, for Skunch, who's 4× weak to it, I thought "This won't end well..." All of the places of power are good places to train. At the current position in the story you currently have access to three; the Crystal Shrine has level 55 Temtem, so it's only useful for training up low-level Temtem, but you can also access the Water Shrine (it's past a solvable crystal puzzle in the Aguamarina Caves) where the Temtem are level 70 and the Earth Shrine (it's in a dark cave in the Chini Grotto) where they are level 72. Once you reach Ryokan you'll be able to complete a side quest to unlock the Digital Shrine, where the Temtem are also level 72. Slightly later you'll acquire a second pair of Crystal Skates to replace the ones you lost in Tucma; these will allow you to access the Fire Shrine, although oddly the Temtem are only level 70 there. The final shrine can only be accessed after completing the story. When battling the Shrine Temtem, lead with two Temtem that wall them and use the Coward's Cloak if you want to grind up a third Temtem. For the Crystal Shrine, Fire and/or Earth types (except Grumper) will work fine, but especially Vulcrane (evolved from Vulvir/Vulor) or Drakash (evolved from Pycko) of course; for the Water Shrine, Volarend (evolved from Zephyruff) works best; for the Earth Shrine, Barnshe, Kinu or Saipat work best; for the Fire Shrine, Water and/or Earth types (obviously without Nature or Crystal as a secondary type) work fine, but especially Garyo (evolved from Droply) and Earth Koish (catch these in the pond in the Mawingu Islets) of course. Note: You can't catch the Shrine Temtem. (Well, you might want to catch one Zenoreth with a TemCardX, as it's normally a trade evolution.) It's not Insomnia (or Vital Spirit) in Temtem, it's Caffeinated.

    Most TH-camrs try to go into Neoedo to heal up instead of going straight to Iwaba, but you seemed to know that there was a mini-Temporium there? Both Barnshe and Drakash had overexerted themselves so there was no need to switch Kalabyss out. Kalabyss was Burned, not Poisoned (which it's immune to because it has Toxic type) but yes, status carries over between battles and takes effect even after the Temtem is switched out. Skunch does eventually learn a turn 1 Melee attack. If you can't wait that long, Mushook and Osukan/Osukai also learn a powerful turn 1 Melee attack. Dreaded Alarm is quite a useful Trait, since wild and NPC Temtem aren't afraid to overexert themselves, in which case they'll rest, and it's goodbye 25% of their HP. Also combos well with Strangle, if you have it on an ally. You have to start the Prasine Coast with two Temtem, although I guess you can allow one to be knocked out in your first battle. But trying to solo the game with just one Temtem is going to be really hard. Maybe if you're allowed to change your Temtem between battles so you bring the one most likely to win? It's amazing how many TH-camrs just charge down those steps to Telobos without bothering to heal up, so it's refreshing to see someone thinking about the health of their Temtem for once.

      I'll be honest, I just assumed there would be grass down below and maybe some loot i wasn't expecting that at all ^^' I tend to forget that Conditions Linger! that along with typing i really need to get to grips with, i have no idea why my brains just rubber and glue with this game >_< I was super Excited about Dreaded alarm but i looked up it's evolutions abilities and found it doesn't keep it? If i ever get a Luma one or a spare Perfect i may keep it as a baby for fun :3 Hmm this is true, i was kinda considering when this game comes out on Switch to maybe do a Co-op playthrough with a friend and only have 1 Tem each at a time for fun! we will have to see if that happens though, I'd love the ability to purchase a second character slot on this game under 1 account ^^ The Longer i spend with a Creature in these games or the more i like them i tend to get attached on and off and try to keep them alive if i can, if i see no other way and have to sacrifice i will do what needs to be done :3

    • @urkerab
      @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Timbued Indeed, there are very few Temtem that keep their Trait when they evolve. Oree's Attack<T> is one notable exception. (If you want a fully evolved Temtem with Dreaded Alarm, you'd have to use Pocus, which you evolve from Hocus, which can very rarely be found on a rock-climbing ledge in the Gifted Bridges or slightly less rarely in a building near the end of the story.) I think the Nuzlocke mode, once it's implemented, will use a second save slot, so maybe that would work for you. (Or maybe everyone will get a second save slot which they can choose to use for Nuzlock mode.)

    Huh, the stairs are glitched; by walking up the edge you missed the hitbox. Embers is more powerful than Fire Flame and also applies a turn of Burn. It would probably have got the KO on Myx. All of Tuwai's evolutions are Wind type, but their secondary typings are all different of course. You don't have to choose between them, because you can catch more Tuwai at each shrine, and also breed it of course. Have you forgotten about your Temessence Phial? (You didn't need to heal up after battling Matthew, since there aren't any more required battles before the next HealTem.)

    Status conditions are supposed to affect the catch rate. At least, that's what it told you back in the Prasine Coast in your catching tutorial. (You can look at the tutorial yourself in-game if you don't believe me.) The grass appears in the Giant Banyan once you defeat Dr. Hamijo in the Anak Volcano. You can actually find the diary at this point, in which case you actually give it to Carlos before speaking to Dr. Sasaya, although he's unable to decode it until after your return for some reason. It's also the only place where you can catch Kinu (it's a rare spawn though). Have I mentioned that Telobos is an anagram of Belsoto?

      Hmm, some status conditions can be scary in this game if you're trying to catch a wild Tem, Does them using Evade lower the chance of me catching them? Presumably the devs just copy-pasted the Arissola Palace hotel into Uhuru. If you lose an optional battle your team gets fully healed. (If you win an optional battle then you have to heal up yourself. Strange huh?) Now that Kisiwa has been freed, you can start all the side quests such as Fishing, and visit all of the optional areas such as the Aisha's Hearth or the Kilima Peaks to name but two. (Speaking of Aisha's Hearth, you can also visit the Entrance to the Kingdom of the Sea-Queen. Sadly, since you hadn't spoken to Phaedra to start it, you weren't able to progress her sidequest.)

    • @urkerab
      @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Timbued Phaedra's side quest can be done at any time, but the steps vary depending on how far through the story you are. Fishing works a bit like Pokémon in that you can stand on land and fish in water, although you can of course encounter two Temtem. Places you can fish include the Arissola Dojo, a lake in the Prasine Coast, another lake in the Saipark, and outside the Nuru Lodge, plus probably anywhere you can surf (but why bother fishing when you can get encounters by surfing?)

  • @urkerab

    Here is that warning you wanted: HEAL UP AFTER *EVERY* BATTLE. You should have gone back to the Temporium before battling Max, and then you could have used your Temessence Vial after battling Max, and therefore easily take out the Belsoto elite, and then go back to the Temporium again, and rinse and repeat. Although you do need to be properly prepared if you want to defeat General X (i.e. look up which Temtem he has and grind up a counter team). Myx's Puppet Master is one of those annoying Traits, like Shared Pain and Good Friend, which don't seem to be useful for the player. There are two items of Gear that help manage Stamina. The first is the Sweatband, which you can get from a side quest once you defeat all of the Crystal cultists in Tucma. This increase your automatic Stamina regeneration from ~5% to 15%. The second is the Matcha, which you will get later as part of the story. This item increases your Stamina regeneration from ~20% to 40% of Stamina when you rest. Pocus only learns Mental and Neutral techniques, so Ganki would have been safe if you'd healed him up.

    You can equip items from the Temtem details but I don't know which key or button it is because that got cropped from the video. There's always someone coming, so always make sure you're ready. Running around blindly with knocked-out Temtem is never a good move. Not sure why you stopped using Electric moves on Zaobian after you'd seen they were super-effective. Scarepharaos are the Temtem equivalent of scarecrows. I think there are other similar examples, but I can't think of one offhand.

    • @urkerab
      @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Timbued Yes, if its Trait is Attack<T> then its secondary type changes to match its move, so it would only be a neutral hit if it happened to use an Electric move, but I don't remember it doing so. (Feel free to correct me if my memory is incorrect. Seeing as it's always weak to Water, Nessla might be Zaobian's best counter; obviously you can't use regular Water types because they'll be hit by its Electric attacks.)

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Temtem don't deliberately knock themselves out due to overexertion but they only take their own attack into account so other effects might assist with the knockout. Toxic may only be weak to Wind but you do have two Wind types in your squad, although on one you only have a 1-Hold Wind attack and on the other you have no Wind attacks at all. You can now access the Temessence Vial from the minimap. Simply click on the icon at its bottom right.

    Interesting that the Belsoto Captain's Temtem are so high level compared to the other Belsoto grunts (including the Belsoto soldier that was fighting alongside him). Good thing it's so close to the Mini-Temporium. You should prefer to use Embers rather than Fire Flame as not only does it deal more damage but it also burns the target, which means that if you got to go first then the target will do 30% less damage on its turn (unless it is immune for some reason). You Skunch's Trait is Brawny, not Bully... oh you meant that you double-targetted Mastione. Book Lungs halves the damage Akranox takes from Water attacks. You have to complete Kisiwa before you can start the Fishing side quest. Kinetic Transfer steals 10% of your stamina each time you attack Raignet. Platimous is Water/Toxic, like Platypet and Platox. Apparently there will be a second save slot for Nuzlocke mode, however there aren't any details yet. Sparzy would have been much easier to defeat if Vulcrane had been allowed to learn Stone Ball. Mushook is indeed weak to Mental, but it's also weak to Wind (and Digital, but you don't have any yet). Also, its trait is Parrier, so avoid using Physical attacks.

  • @urkerab

    Actually you can take an airship from Quetzal back to Omninesia or Deniz just before you get the Rock-Hopping Hook (although you want the hook first if you want to visit, say, the Saipark). Now that you've retaught it Toxic Ink, Kalabyss is definitely putting in work, although the Platypet line does well too, once you've finished evolving it. There is a Trick Room effect called Deceit Aura. You need to breed Houchic in order to get it though, as the starter has the wrong Trait. It only works once per battle, for the first four turns that Nagaise is in the battle.

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Dojos have two types (except for the Nanga Dojo, which has four). So it's not a case of Earth or Neutral, rather both. Although, Musa seems to like Toxic and Melee Temtem for some reason... Ground is weak to Melee, that's why Haito Uchi was 2× effective against Akranox and 4× against Mudrid. The Yareni and Max battles already had a few Temtem holding Gear, but Musa has a almost full set of Gear. I hope the quest log tells you enough about what you need to do next seeing as you skipped Musa's dialogue.

  • @urkerab
    @urkerab 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You have to be really careful with sleep, so as not to wake the Temtem up prematurely. In your case, Loali would have been better off using Blizzard on Platimous anyway, as that's super-effective. The other alternative is to use a Temtem with Soft Touch, as not only does that not wake up the target, but also does 25% more damage. At last, Kalabyss relarned Toxic Ink! Although, given that this is the Earth/Neutral Dojo, it's only going to be using its Water attacks for a bit. (And Nessla would technically have been more helpful, since there are a couple of Mental types to deal with.)
