Thank you Rachel, I loved it. I was secretary of our college boat-club a long long time ago, and it drove me mad when an oarsman (or woman) did not show up for practice. Even in an 8, change one person, and the whole rhythm of the boat is altered - I know of no other sport where that is so true. I also had the privilege of rowing at Henley and have an indelible memory of two Russian oarsmen in a pair. They were HUGE, but the precision with which they worked to move that boat was pure Poetry in Motion. I also loved the bit near the end of your film on all the lessons that sport teaches us. SO please, keep promoting this wonderful sport.

Hi Rachel just saw on King racing Shells that your Texas Women's Alumnae Eights came to Boston two weeks ago and competed in HOCR!! Next year please let Texas Exes Boston Chapter know and we, Texas exes in Boston area will come to cheer for you girls! (I also rowed in the regatta).
