In September 2018, the first full scale virtual (art) museum launched encompassing: e.g. 50 exhibitions at any one time, 850+ works fully searchable, 600+ artist biographies, 100+ reports from the Research Unit, 100+ films, 60+ podcasts etc and the Research Centre for the recording of the Jewish and immigrant contribution to British visual culture since 1900 alongside the Arts and Health Institute for the study and dissemination of cost, and recipient, effective art interventions using our collection as its source.
Ben Uri was founded by a Russian Jewish immigrant artist in 1915 in Whitechapel in the East End of London. It was the first British Jewish cultural institution and the centre of engagement for two waves of immigration - the first pre-WWI from Russia and the second pre and post-WWII from Central Europe escaping or surviving the Holocaust.

Maybe you should have let him speak
I really enjoyed this - as a composer of sound and colour, I thank you both very much for this special vignette!
Very interesting
Your paint art very interesting
Interesting work.
I had no knowledge of this remarkable man nor his family history, until last Wednesday, 8th March. I was at the V and A for lunch with my husband, and there were no free tables. We consequently shared a table with a charming and self effacing man, with whom we got chatting. This was Ardyn Halter. He told us a little about himself and his father Roman. It was not until later when my natural curiosity led me to research the whole family that I realised we had brushed with greatness, unbelievable resourcefulness, and a huge reminder of an unwelcome unforgettable part of European history. Thank you, Ardyn. It was a privilege to meet you.

What an amazing piece of work
Absolutely amazing. I'm feeling a lot of Hieronymus Bosch. And I love David Breuer-Weil's other work I've now found!
Well done !
Fantastic post, Fantastic approach to the present Art World. Virtual is the way! And world needs to learn more about London Culture from the eyes of small and independent art galleries! I want the book! My son listened it all in the background and made an unexpected comment "Nice words he is saying" and when I asked what do you mean? He answered "Because they are kind"
Good to hear. Wish you success b'hatzlacha. As opposed to being used to document art What about emphasis blog and virtual space exhibits as an art work in and of it's self. I.e: postdigital?
Worth following up this ambitious online exhibition on Ben Uri's website
