Larry doesn’t work for the restaurant. He has a day job working for the Paldea Pokémon League as a businessman (his official character bio from the S/V website + gym description reveals this info)

@@FJB97 No problem. Larry is just a regular at the Treasure Eatery. He has a day job working at the Paldea Pokémon League as a businessman (I wrote a typo and wrote that he worked for the Elite 4 rather than the Paldea Pokémon League) He is an E4 member, Gym Leader and his day job is being a businessman for the Paldea League.
You can lower ghost type pokemon with false swipe if you get a pokemon who know the move "soak" that transforms the other pokemon to water type. You can get a smeargle to be your shiny hunt partner, he can learn False Swipe, Soak , Spore (guaranteed sleep) and taunt that disables the suicide moves like memento :)
Honestly that's a great idea and I feel a bit silly for not having already done that lol, thank you very much. I will prepare that friend for the next shiny hunt :)

lol I’ve definitely thought about it but I find I have more fun doing the commentary on the fly especially because I record the video then the commentary so a lot of the times I’ve forgotten what happens by the time I’m doing commentary so my reaction is usually genuine
