I'm from Tampa, started fishing skyway shortly after the accident before they made it a tourist attraction. You could'nt drive on it, had to walk, sometimes we would stay overnite. The fish i caught there was incredible. TY for sharing your adventures with me. Cuz of my health i cannot fish anymore and your videos are a blessing to me !!!

Having a difficult time deciding between Avet TRX 130, the new LBS Mak80, and Mak130 II SEa. Also planning on pairing with either Barrett or Terra Firma custom rod (~7 feet). Would love your input. that first one was a white shark i am 90% sure ive seen wite sharks run like that on 80w and 130s and it looked the same

What is the point to fish them ? You damage the shark with his eyes in the sand and all the injuries. Tiger sharks and hammer sharks ar beautiful animals and very usefull for the ecosystem. As a diver AND a fisherman, I DONT APPROVE THAT !!!!

I forgot moon phase, during full moon the kings may feed at night so the daytime bite could be slow. If you can chart a time when the moon is directly overhead during the day that's usually an optimal time to fish for kings, too.

I fished for kings in the Gulf off piers for 50+ years. To get a good pier or bridge bite the following are optimal conditions IMO: tide and wind incoming from the Gulf, clear or semi-clear water (not muddy), schools of bait and overcast conditions since kings seem to stay deeper in bright sunlight.
